I was drivin’ late one night and saw headlights out in the middle of a field. It was a farmer, plowin’ under the stars. That image stuck with me — a man workin’ the land, trusting that something he can’t see yet is gonna grow.

That’s where the song Field of Dreams came from.

It hit me that faith ain’t all that different. Just like a farmer, we’ve gotta keep plowin’ even when we don’t see the results right away. We trust in a God who’s workin’, even when the soil looks dry and the night feels long.

This song’s not just about farmers. It’s about all of us who are tryin’ to walk by faith and not by sight.

I’ve been down some rough roads in my life — some of ‘em I never thought I’d make it through. But looking back, that’s where God did His best work in me.
It wasn’t comfortable… but it was real. And sometimes real is what we need most.
