Esta imagen la compartí hace tiempo, pero hoy volvió a mí con otro significado.

Supongo que las iglesias son lugares donde muchos buscan paz o conexión divina.
Para mí, estas construcciones despiertan algo distinto.
No es la fe lo que me atrae, sino lo solemne, lo sombrío… lo misterioso que guardan en sus muros.
Hay una calma extraña en esa arquitectura, una especie de paz… nacida no del consuelo, sino del silencio.

Desde el umbral – Funeral Temple

Hace un par de días cumplí un año más de vida. No hubo fiesta, ni globos, ni ruido… pero sí una señal clara de que algo dentro de mí está despertando.

Esa mañana, al comenzar mi día, sonó “To Live Is to Die” de Metallica, una pieza instrumental, melancólica, pero cargada de fuerza. Sin buscarlo, me acompañó al iniciar el día, y volvió a aparecer justo al final. No lo tomé como casualidad, sino como un reflejo de lo que ha sido este proceso interno: morir a ciertas versiones de mí, para poder darle forma a algo nuevo.

Funeral Temple nació como un proyecto de fotografía y música, pero con el paso del tiempo, por ciertas situaciones, fui alejándome de muchos aspectos creativos. Cambié, crecí, me transformé… y mis intereses también. Hoy tengo más herramientas, más conocimientos, y sobre todo, una visión más clara de lo que quiero expresar.

Funeral Temple será el espacio donde mis habilidades aprendidas se unan con mi gusto por lo oscuro, atmosférico, pagano, místico y extraño, para crear piezas únicas con esta temática

No soy un artista tradicional. No busco complacer modas ni algoritmos. Solo busco ser honesto con lo que llevo dentro y compartirlo con quien resuene con ello.

Gracias a quienes han estado desde el inicio.
Y a quienes se sumen ahora, bienvenidos a este templo de sombras, símbolos y creación.

Y gracias también a quienes se tomaron el tiempo de leer hasta el final.
Eso, en estos tiempos, también es un acto de conexión.

The Guardian

In the heart of the mountain, where days fade into shadows and footsteps drown in the undergrowth, lies the guardian. Its skull, stripped of identity, watches with hollow sockets over the eternal forest. Moisture has woven its mossy mantle upon it, and roots whisper prayers to the silence.
