Ramai orang ingat EV cuma tentang jimat minyak, teknologi baharu atau isu charging.

Tetapi ada satu perkara yang jarang orang sebut.

The calm.

Bila duduk dalam EV, kabin terasa lebih senyap. Perjalanan lebih smooth. Tiada bunyi enjin yang menekan telinga. Tiada gegaran yang berlebihan. Tekan pedal pun terasa lembut, tetapi responsif.

Untuk sesetengah orang, pengalaman ini memberi rasa tenang yang susah diterangkan.

Dalam traffic jam, kita kurang rasa serabut. Dalam perjalanan jauh, badan terasa kurang penat. Bila bawa keluarga, suasana dalam kereta pun lebih santai. Perbualan lebih jelas, anak lebih mudah rehat, dan pemandu tidak terasa terlalu “drained” selepas memandu lama.

Ini bukan bermaksud EV sempurna untuk semua orang. Isu harga, charging point, jarak perjalanan dan kos bateri tetap perlu difikirkan.

Tetapi dari sudut pengalaman memandu, ramai pemilik EV akan faham satu perkara ini:

EV ubah cara kita rasa ketika berada di jalan raya.

Less noise.
Less stress.
Different kind of calm.
