Five Valuable Women In Islam
Post
🌹 1. Maryam bint Imran (Mary, Mother of Isa عليه السلام)
Why valuable: She is the symbol of purity, patience, and complete trust in Allah.
How: She obeyed Allah’s command even when she faced shame and hardship giving birth to Prophet Isa (Jesus) alone.
Example:
When people accused her of immorality, she stayed silent — trusting Allah — and the newborn Isa (AS) spoke in her defense.
> “He said, ‘Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.’” — Qur’an (19:30)
---
🌺 2. Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA)
Why valuable: She was the first to believe in Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and supported Islam from the very beginning.
How: She used her wealth, love, and courage to help the Prophet ﷺ when others rejected him.
Example:
When the Prophet ﷺ received the first revelation, she comforted him saying:
> “By Allah, He will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your kin, help the poor, serve your guests, and assist the truth.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
---
🌼 3. Fatimah bint Muhammad (RA)
Why valuable: She was known for her modesty, humility, and closeness to her father, the Prophet ﷺ.
How: She lived a simple life, never complained about poverty, and always remained grateful.
Example:
When she asked the Prophet ﷺ for a servant to help her, he said:
> “Shall I not tell you something better than that? Say SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times before sleeping.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
---
🌻 4. Asiyah bint Muzahim (RA)
Why valuable: She kept her faith in Allah even while living with one of the world’s greatest tyrants, Pharaoh.
How: She secretly believed in Musa (AS) and refused to worship Pharaoh, even under torture.
Example:
She prayed as she was being killed:
> “My Lord! Build for me a house near You in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds.” — Qur’an (66:11)
---
🌷 5. Aishah bint Abu Bakr (RA)
Why valuable: She became one of the greatest scholars of Islam, preserving the Prophet’s ﷺ teachings.
How: She narrated over 2,000 hadiths and educated many companions.
Example:
Men and women came to her to learn — even great companions like Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah (RA) sought her knowledge.
> The Prophet ﷺ said: “Take half of your religion from this Humayra (Aishah).”
