We had the privilege of handling the recording, mixing, and mastering for this year’s graduation song of Chung Ling High School, Butterworth.

When we first received the demo, we were impressed by how complete and polished the arrangement sounded—we honestly thought it was done by a professional arranger. To our surprise, it was fully crafted by the graduating students themselves at home using Cubase, along with an impressive range of professional-grade virtual instruments.

Throughout the production, the students showed remarkable dedication, constantly discussing with us how to refine their work. For 17-year-olds to self-learn and reach this level is truly commendable. With time and perseverance, we believe they will shine even brighter in the music industry.

And to the graduates, our heartfelt congratulations, let the music of your youth continue to inspire your journey ahead.

We recently had the pleasure of handling the recording, mixing, and mastering for this song — a project entirely brought to life by a group of passionate young dreamers.

From storyboard and framing to shooting and editing the MV, everything was done by them.
They may not be professionals, but their drive and determination pushed them through every challenge — and the result truly speaks for itself.

The singers’ voices had such natural power and texture. Sonically, the track blends rock intensity with youthful optimism.
We shaped the mix to bring out that same spirit — punchy drums, rich tones, and a solid low end that keeps the whole song moving with strength and purpose.

It’s the sound of passion, youth, and pure positive energy.

In the world of music production, there are many tools to fix pitch and timing — from the early days of Auto-Tune to the flexibility of Melodyne.

But every time a vocal session ends, the real work begins.
Aligning pitch and timing, especially with multiple leads and big choruses, often feels like running a full marathon.

Tools like VocAlign and Waves SyncVX can fix everything in seconds.
They’re fast and impressive — but sometimes too perfect.
When every vocal is identical, the life and emotion of the performance fade away.

That’s why I still rely on Melodyne, carefully tuning every note by hand.
It’s slower, but it preserves each singer’s unique tone, phrasing, and personality.

Hopefully, the next generation of AI tools can help us save time — without sacrificing soul.

🎓 It’s truly an honour once again to be chosen as the recording studio for Jit Sin High School’s Graduation Song 2025.

The song was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Shishoki Production, and we’re deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful milestone.

A heartfelt thanks to 黄汇雯（三叭音乐）, one of the finest string arrangers in the industry, for her beautiful and moving arrangement that brought the song to life.

Also, huge compliments to the students for their music video — it looks so professionally made! Truly amazed that it was entirely produced by the students themselves. The shots, storyline, set design, and editing align perfectly with the flow and emotion of the music. 🎬👏

Working in the studio with Harrison Mixbus 10, and it’s bringing that analogue warmth and vibe we love. It’s been great having a smooth, rich sound right out of the box, and the hands-on, knob-per-function setup makes tweaking mixes feel so intuitive.
