We believe in the power of youth, and the NextGenTeenXChange Programme (Digital Ninja Programme) is the proof!

On September 18, we had the honor of celebrating five teams of talented young leaders and innovators (ages 15-20) at a special awards ceremony held in conjunction of the Malaysia Digital Xceleration Summit (MDX) and SmartGov Malaysia 2025 at KL Convention Center.

In collaboration with Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), we saw firsthand how these students are already solving real-world problems with their digital solutions, creators and empowering the next generation to become leaders. Their hard work and creative thinking were recognized by prominent industry representatives, showing that the next generation isn't just preparing for the future—they're building it. Congratulations to all the participants for their incredible work!

We are thrilled to venture into our collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Malaysia for their flagship goIT programme at 15 identified residential schools.


From July to September, we have empowered seven (7) amazing schools with the spirit of curiosity and digital creativity among students. With only less than 2 days, the students have proved to us that each one of them has unleashed their potential when the right opportunity knocks in.

We are truly grateful to these inspiring schools for welcoming us and joining in the celebration of curiosity and creativity:

Dari Borneo ke Utara Semenanjung, kini Bengkel CRE8 2025 telah berjaya dilaksanakan dan sampai ke penghujungnya!

Bengkel Pemantapan Pusat Kecemerlangan (CoE) 2025 telah berjaya dilaksanakan di Zon Utara pada 27-28 Ogos 2025 bertempat di Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Kedah dan merupakan siri terakhir untuk tahun ini. SSTP Kedah menjadi tuan rumah dan menerima kehadiran hampir 100 orang pegawai dari SSTP/USTP negeri Kedah dan Perak.

Terima kasih kepada wakil industri daripada IBM dan Blackberry CCoE yang telah berkongsi pengetahuan tentang Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dan Keselamatan Siber. Selain itu, sesi perkongsian amalan terbaik daripada Rakan Digital Maker Hub, Kedah Digital Center (KDC), yang diuruskan oleh Kulim Technology Park Corporation (KTPC) turut menyemarakkan lagi bengkel kali ini.

Tahniah dan terima kasih kepada semua peserta serta SSTP Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Kedah dan Bahagian Sektor Sumber & Teknologi Pendidikan (BSTP) atas kerjasama dalam menjayakan program ini.

A heartwarming celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of the RERO Annual Championship (RAC2025)!

Held at Nilai University on 20 August 2025, the event brought together over 2,000 teams consist of school students from across Malaysia joined the qualifiers, and the best 138 teams competed at the Finals!

Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), through the MyDigitalMaker initiative, has proudly supported this competition since its inception, championing the transformation of our youth from digital users to digital creators.

Huge congratulations to the amazing team at Cytron Technologies for a decade of dedication in nurturing tech talent. Special thanks also to Nilai University for hosting the Finals venue.

To all the winners, finalists, and mentors, you have inspired us all. Here’s to even more impactful collaborations in the years to come!

Last night, Monday, 18 August 2025, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) had the honour of attending the Anugerah Inovasi Pembelajaran Digital CIDOS Award for Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti Malaysia (eDOLA) 2025, officiated by YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Higher Education.

As a proud strategic partner, MDEC is pleased to support this impactful initiative through a sponsorship under the MyDigitalMaker Digital Making Competition, in collaboration with the Politeknik.kolejkomuniti (Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti - JPPKK) under Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (KPT). This collaboration is set to benefit over 2,000 students from polytechnics, community colleges, and secondary schools across Malaysia, via digital making activities.

We truly look forward to more impactful and inclusive partnerships with JPPKK, KPT, and the broader education ecosystem as we continue building a future-ready generation together.

On 16 August 2025, Sri Bestari Private School Kuala Lumpur (SBPSKL) marked a remarkable 30th Anniversary with a vibrant School Open Day, officiated by YB Pua Pei Ling, ADUN for Bukit Lanjan.

MDEC was honoured to be part of the celebration as a Guest of Honour. As one of our endorsed Digital Maker Hubs under the MyDigitalMaker initiative, SBPSKL continues to champion digital innovation and STEM education among students.

Not only that, MDEC is also proud to co-fund digital making activities in the school, ensuring continued support for hands-on learning in computational thinking, computer science, artificial intelligence and digital creativity.
