Apple officially brings Tap To Pay on iPhone to Malaysia πŸ’³πŸ“±

Merchants can now accept contactless payments using just their iPhone β€” no payment terminal or extra device needed. Customers can pay using credit & debit cards, Apple Pay and digital wallets through NFC technology.

The feature supports major payment networks including Visa, Mastercard, MyDebit and American Express. Tap To Pay requires an iPhone 11 or newer running the latest iOS version✨

🚨 On 5 August 2026, an 8-vehicle pile-up involving 2 lorries and 6 cars occurred at KM129 of the North-South Expressway near Yong Peng, Johor, heading north towards Pagoh.

The crash blocked all northbound lanes, causing traffic congestion stretching about 7.9km. A contra lane was activated to ease the traffic flow.

Police said no fatalities were reported, but several people were injured. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Drive carefully and follow traffic instructions if you are travelling on the NSE. πŸš—βš οΈ
