PROTON terus mengukuhkan prestasi jualan dengan penambahan sebanyak 12,230 unit (domestik + eksport) pada bulan September. Ini membawa jumlah jualan tahunan hingga September kepada 116,832 unit, menandakan pertumbuhan sebanyak 14.1% berbanding tahun sebelumnya.

Meskipun penurunan jualan berlaku berbanding bulan Ogos, di mana sebanyak 1,725 unit kurang terjual, PROTON masih mendahului pertumbuhan industri secara keseluruhan dengan perbezaan lebih daripada 3.7%. Model-model PROTON yang popular seperti Proton Persona, Proton X90, Proton X50, dan Proton Exora terus memimpin dalam segmen masing-masing.
