We ordered the famous 🍤 Gambas al Ajillo and lost our minds. The garlicky olive oil was so good, we refused to let the waiter take the dish away until every last drop was gone.

For once, there's no stress about our soup getting cold while we snap photos — because their 🥣 Gazpacho is meant to be chilled! Refreshing, tangy, and perfect with bread. 🥘 Paella brimming with saffron & seafood, grilled octopus that’s smoky outside, tender inside, tapas like Jamon Croquetas and Padron Peppers, and suddenly we realise we’ve ordered half the menu (don’t worry, we translated the Spanish for you 😆).

Add to that endless glasses of 🍷 Sangria, some crunchy 🍩 Churros dipped in hot chocolate, and suddenly our “just a quick dinner” turned into a full-on fiesta.

If the weekend plan is “eat, chat, repeat,” The Garden Porch just became our HQ. Gone are the sweaty, cramped days of the old Monaco Garden — the revamped, fully air-conditioned space makes it effortless to lounge for hours. Elegant lighting, cosy corners, and that subtle “we belong here” vibe make it a perfect spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

讲真，大人们以前就是常客，东西真的好吃，老板娘也超 friendly～但最大痛点就是：冷气厢房只能塞两桌😅；结果每次要约朋友聊天，位子没抢到就自动放弃！毕竟三四个钟头在大热天聊天？想想都汗流浃背啦💦！

直到前阵子重新装潢＋换了新名字 The Garden Porch，走进去差点怀疑自己穿越到另一个世界！第一反应就是两个字：✨优雅✨！灯光、座位、氛围… 就是那种让你很自然坐下来，好好吃饭＋好好聊天的感觉！

Honestly, regulars (including us!) have always loved it here. The food hits the spot, and the lady boss is one of the friendliest around. But the biggest headache? The old air-con room only had space for two tables 😅. If we didn’t manage to snag a seat, we’d just give up on meeting friends here — because who wants to chat for three or four hours in Malaysia’s heat? Sweat city 💦!

New look, new name: The Garden Porch is finally the spot to linger. Fully air-conditioned, roomy enough for a family gathering, and the new decor makes it a comfortable, Instagram-ready backdrop. Kids can nibble, parents can sip coffee, and everyone can sit down, order, and actually enjoy good food with good company.

Nenek is back with a glow-up in Taman Melodies, and honestly… it’s worth every ringgit. In an era where lunches can burn RM30-RM40 easily, this spot keeps it real: flavourful food, refreshing drinks, cosy environment. The only “flaw”? Parking might test your patience a little.

这次大人们带了个行走的美食雷达来，她平时三口之内就能判你刑的那种😆，结果今天吃了几口，默默点头：“这里味道真的很好。”！好嘛，那我们就放心了～ #结果最后她还去买单请客😆，所以大人们到现在都不知道 Rojak 多少钱🤣！

🥖🥐 #小红书这次靠谱了！！月前临时飞KL看展✈️，完全没做探店攻略，下机立马掏出小红书📱！凭直觉＋经验锁定了一家靠近酒店的 Cafe～
Confession: We didn’t plan to fall in love with a café on this KL trip… but then Adough happened.

判断标准很简单：刷到他们家老板会亲自回复评论，态度超认真！一下子信任感直接拉满💯

结果一进门就被橱窗里的面包勾走魂🍞✨（内心疯狂提醒自己：冷静冷静！别点太多！）…最后还是没忍住🙈

事实证明，不做攻略也能遇到对味的 Cafe 啊😁！这次小红书真的靠谱！Adough 的 Sourdough 强烈推荐！

大人们大概早上8点进店，坐了一个多小时，眼睁睁看着店里被坐满🔥；所以，想去的朋友要早点来哦！下次到 KL，真的可以冲！

Sometimes the best food finds happen by accident. We landed in KL with no café game plan, opened XiaoHongShu at the airport, and somehow ended up at Adough. Best decision ever.

The moment we stepped in, the smell of fresh sourdough hit us. Then we saw the display case — golden loaves, shiny crusts, soft centres. Honestly, it was impossible to stay calm. (Told ourselves: “Don’t over-order.” Of course, we over-ordered 🙈.)

The food? Insanely good.
🍞 Truffle & Roe Scramble on Toast
— creamy eggs, that deep truffle aroma, and the pop of roe in every bite.
🧀 Three Cheese Toasties
— molten cheese, crispy toast, and maximum comfort in every bite.
☕ Earl Grey Latte / Cappuccino
– smooth, aromatic, and priced so reasonably.

We walked in around 8am to a calm café glow and walked out an hour later to a full house. That’s how we know it’s legit. If KL is on your map, let Adough be your pit stop. One bite, and you’ll be planning your second visit before you finish the first.
