"ECHOES FROM NORTHERN VOID"

27/05/2026

INTRODUCTION :

NORTHERN ASTRUM PRODUCTION
Established in 2010, Northern Astrum Production is an independent underground label dedicated to supporting and developing the Malaysian metal scene through album releases, physical productions, promotion, and live events.

Since the beginning, our focus has been to provide a platform for local bands—especially from Northern Malaysia—to grow, release original works, and reach wider audiences beyond regional borders.

Our vision is to strengthen collaborations with local and international labels, expand distribution networks, and create more opportunities for underground acts through physical releases, merchandise, promotional support, and artistic partnerships.

Northern Astrum Production continues to move forward with the aim of producing more works involving local bands, preserving underground identity while building greater competitiveness within the extreme music community.

Beyond releases, we aspire to organize and host events ranging from intimate underground gatherings to larger-scale metal performances, creating spaces where music, culture, and community continue to thrive.

Current main project / featured act:
DAMAQ — carrying symphonic darkness, Malay identity, and echoes from the northern void.

"Forged in the North. Built for the Underground."
