KCCC Cup instrumental Music Competition - Western Instrument Category Judges
Elaine Yee Ling Pao
Renowned Choral & orchestral conductor, piano soloist & Accompanist in Malaysia. Graduated in 1982 from Westminster Choir College with highest Honour Bachelor Degree. Deseased Harold Zabrack was her major piano coach and Martin Katz from Metropolitan Opera House coached her in accompaniment. She was granted an honorary membership from world recognised organization "Pi Kappa Lambda". Singing in Westminster Symphonic Choir under the famous Choral conductor Joseph Flummerfelt gained her precious experiences performing in world class Concert hall with world class orchestras under many international top conductors.
In the past decades, back in Malaysia, she continued her performances with Angela Chock, Cecilia Yap, and our long lost Tenor Armando Chin Yong. Set up "Yin Qi Music Fellowship" together with Mr.&Mrs. Chin Yong, and Angela Chock in the 90’s and started "Yin Qi Choir". She conducted the Choir with orchestra performing many oratorios over the years with very good acclaims, together with numerous very good soloists from abroad and local. She set up a sacred music school "Te Deum Music Workshop"in 2007 to 2014, trained a group of singers, conductors, and music teachers. 2011, produced two "10 Christian Singers Praise concert" touring in East & West Malaysia, and 3 cities in New Zealand ,2 cities in Australia. A year or 2 later, produced again a concert tour in Malaysia with "10 young christian singers praise concert". Most of these young singers have become Conductors, Soloists, Music teachers now.
She was granted the first "Chin Yong Musical Art Award" in 2012.
At the beginning of 2024, she was invited to China to carry and teach a 5-days Conducting Camp to over 40 conducting students. In the mid of the same year, together with 3 hosts from 3 places in Malaysia, she held 3 tour concerts performing with 4 famous soloists "In Your Glory" touring Trengganu, Kuala Lumpur & Kota Kinabalu in Sabah.
At the moment, she still strives in teaching piano and understanding Oratorios, both on-line and physical realizations.

马来西亚著名指挥、钢琴演奏家与伴奏。1982年考取美国普林斯顿的 Westminster Choir College 最高荣誉音乐学士学位，随已故名师 Harold Zabrack 主修钢琴演奏，并随时纽约 Metropolitan Opera House 的诠释老师Martin Katz 习钢琴伴奏。在学期间被选为 Pi Kappa Lambda 国家荣誉音乐协会会员，亦于所参加了两年的 Westminster Symphonic Choir 中与国际级的指挥、歌唱家与乐团在世界殿堂级的音乐厅演出了，吸取了不少宝贵的音乐、合唱、演奏经验。
过去40年里，常与著名女高音卓如燕、叶洁芝、洪美枫以及已故男高音陈容的演唱会作钢琴伴奏。1990年代与陈容夫妇和卓如燕创立了「音契」并开始了“音契圣乐团”的训练，努力透过演出推动圣乐的质素与广传。90年代间承接了指挥一职。30年间演出了多套旷世神剧，与国内外著名演唱家与乐团合作演出，甚获好评。
2007至2014年间。独自创立了 Te Deum Music Workshop, 栽培了一些歌唱、诗班指挥的音乐人才。2011举行了一连两年的“十人基督徒演出赞美会“巡回东、西马与巡回纽澳。
她于2012年7月获颁第一届的「陈容音乐艺术奖」。
2024年初，被邀到中国亲自教导40多位诗班与学院的指挥历时5天的指挥营。并在同年，进行了伴奏3场巡回东、西马的「在祂荣耀中」5人演唱会。
目前，虽然已退出服侍了30年的音契，却仍然努力于教导、无论是在线上或实体。
