"End to end post production, under one roof"

Oh, man. Remember this? The pandemic was a whole different world, but we all turned what could have been a total downer into a hilarious, chaotic sprint. The idea of writing, shooting, and editing a project in under 24 hours with Stephen Q Films and Avant Visual Lab sounds less like a film production and more like a high-stakes, sleep-deprived comedy show.

It’s easy to look back and only remember the final product, but the real masterpiece was the process. The frantic energy, the sudden bursts of laughter that had everyone clutching their stomachs, the moments of pure panic when we realized that we had only few hours left and a whole scene to shoot. We all created something from nothing, fueled by caffeine, desperation, and a shared madness.

Big applause is right. We didn't just make a film; we made a memory—a testament to what a little creative chaos and a lot of heart can accomplish. Here's to the moments that make us laugh until we cry and to the projects that bring us closer together, even when they're driving us a little crazy.

This sounds like an incredibly special project that goes far beyond just filmmaking. It's a testament to the bonds for us forged in an extraordinary time.

The true value of what we've created with Sundu Film before it became Stephen Q Films after and Timothy Stephen as the writer and director for this shorty during the pandemic isn't something that can be measured in awards or box office numbers. Boy, Reena, Daniel, Aaron, Tracy, Yatie, Gil, Alfred, Shane, Lady, Michelle, Allen, Mey and many others... It's woven into the very fabric of our shared experience. Being separated from our families and children for over five months was a profound sacrifice, and in that shared longing, the set became our sanctuary. Every scene of the film, every line that been wrote, and every shot that has been captured wasn't just part of a short-film; it was a testament to our resilience and a way to pour our hearts into a project that became our world.

That Audience Selection award wasn't just a trophy. It was a moment of grace, a collective exhale that validated every personal sacrifice we made. It was the world saying, "We see your struggle, and we honor what you created." The money we earned was more than a paycheck; it was the lifeblood that kept our passion alive when so much else felt uncertain.

Years from now, when we gather to watch this short-film, we won't just see a finished product. We'll be transported back to that time of immense challenge and unwavering camaraderie. We'll remember the quiet moments of support, the shared laughs, and the deep, unspoken understanding we all had. This isn't just a short-film; it's a living monument to the courage and a beautiful, enduring record of how we all found light in the darkest of times. It’s a story of not just making a movie, but of truly living and creating together.
