Kawan sia!Story time!

Dulukan waktu saya muda-muda yang remaja lagi kan saya mmg sdh perasan yg minat sma benda2 art “seni”..sy tau yg sy mau jadi chef waktu sy tingkatan 2 lagi.. but at the same time sy mmg minat muzik..

dipendekkan cerita, waktu sy mau sambung belajar tu,my parents want me to be an engineer or anything related to sciene sbb sy dulu aliran sains tulen smpi sy smpt masuk matrikulasi Labuan tapi jauh dalam hati sy cakap.. i want to persue “seni” for my life sbb itu yg sy minat.. dan pada waktu itu back in 2008-2009.. sy minat masak dan sy minat muzik.

Masa tu sy kena buat pilihan untuk pilih satu ja.. time tu kata hati sy ckp 51 percent is culinary,49percent is music,so sy sambung la culinary dan make it music as my hobby.. waktu sy tgk kazen sy dan kawan2 yg smbung music kan time tu sy jeles jg la😅.. tapi tiapa sy simpan ja dalam hati haha!

Dipendekkan cerita lagi sy enjoy setiap saat sy belajar pasal seni kulinari di UITM Pulau Pinang.. and i think i hv done quite well time university sbb sy buat apa yg sy minat.. disebabkan sy masi obses sma music time tu, sy pernah mencetuskan fenomena dimana i want to do a music+food cuisine😂 sy pernah plate makanan atas gitar ah😂.. after achieving my dream as a recognized chef in this food industry .. i think i want to achieve my another dream to become a partime musician😊.. sbb sy still percaya.. one day sy boleh guna ini dua skill “seni kulinari” dan “seni musik” utk cari makan😊

Akhir kata! dont stop believing in your another dreams! Kalau kita tidak cuba kita tidak tau.. hidup sekali.. do what u love to do! Ok kawan sia!😊🙏🏻

Feeling Grateful – A Journey I’ll Never Forget 🌟

It has truly been an unforgettable journey for me. Being given the chance to be Team Leader for the Sabah Culinary Team at the 4th Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia 2025 was not only an honour, but also a beautiful experience I will always cherish.

I’m incredibly proud of what our team has achieved — 4 Gold, 3 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals, along with three special awards:

🥉 2nd Runner-Up – Fruit & Vegetable Carving
🥈 1st Runner-Up – Piau Kee Cup: Hot Cooking (Duo)
🏅 Most Outstanding Apprentice Award

These achievements reflect the hard work, dedication, and passion of every team member. I feel truly lucky to have worked alongside such talented young chefs and to witness their growth, resilience, and fighting spirit throughout this journey.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to the Sabah Tourism Board for your trust, support, and generous sponsorship. Your belief in our team helped us bring Sabahan flavours to the world stage.

I would also like to express my deepest thanks to Chef Rohizan(team manager), for your guidance and support, and to our President Chef Adrian Chong and the entire Sabah Chef Association committee—thank you for your leadership, commitment, and for believing the team.

To all the mentors and coaches who gave their time, energy, and heart to train and prepare our young chefs—this would not have been possible without you.

A Memorable Victory for Sabah Culinary Team at the 4th Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia 2025!

It has been a journey filled with passion, creativity, and unforgettable memories for the Sabah Culinary Team, as we proudly brought home a remarkable 4 Gold, 3 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals from the 4th Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia 2025.

In addition to these achievements, we are honored to have received three special awards:
