Ever wondered what actually stops someone taking your bag at the airport?

I didn’t… until my suitcase started moving away from baggage claim.

Two flights. 20+ hours travelling. One teal suitcase.

Reported missing. Forms filled out.

Checked my tracker… and realised someone else was already driving off with it.

Mistake? Yes. Preventable? Apparently not.

Baggage claim runs almost entirely on trust.

If someone takes your bag, there’s very little stopping them.

The obsession is real!

If you’ve been here a while you’ll know how much I like F1. Ever since I started watching in 2010 not only the sport, but the engineering involved has always fascinated me.

I went to the F1 exhibition in London twice. Spent way too much time at motion sims here in KL. My office is covered in car stuff, but with a young family and work, disappearing for hours wasn’t working anymore.

So that messy corner of my office, finally has a purpose.

Even though F1 is my favourite racing category I want to try other racing games too.

At the start of this year I set myself a goal of 1k followers. Though I didn’t reach that, it doesn’t mean it hasn’t been a year of progress.

I learnt new skills and as a result, the quality of my content improved leading to some cool videos and even some paid collaborations.

I moved to Malaysia with my little family and took a huge leap for a better quality of life for us. Scary at the time but so worth it.

I also learnt that we should only worry about things in our control. So though I didn’t reach my initial goal for 2025, I learnt it was a goal set that was out of my control!

More importantly, I improved with each post and made a nice community aswell as some friends with similar interests.

Hope you all had a great year and heres to another year of progess.

Love my little coffee-making ritual with the Chemex, there’s nothing better than a good cup of coffee. But since being back in the UK and it getting dark before 4pm, my body thinks it’s bedtime… so I’ve added another coffee to the day 😂☕️
