Franchise Expo Malaysia (FEM) 2025, organised by the MRCA - Malaysia Retail Chain Association, opened last Thursday at KLCC, officiated by YB Datuk Ewon Benedick, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan dan Koperasi.

The event marked its largest edition with over 400 booths and strong international participation, with MoUs signed with MDEC and RHB Bank to drive digital adoption and strengthen Malaysiaโ€™s position as a regional franchising hub.

Another highlight of the 3-day expo was the onboarding of U Mobile as a corporate patrons of MRCA for the 2025/2026 term where both parties aim to play a key role in accelerating the digitalisation of Malaysiaโ€™s retail sector.
