Finally, a new LRT-1 stop is coming to Cavite!
Talaba station is officially joining the LRT-1 extension, making your trip from Bacoor to Metro Manila smoother and faster. Commuting just got a major glow-up.

📍Construction of the recently-inaugurated LRT-1 Cavite Extension only began during the administration of Rodrigo Duterte. It was initially proposed under the term of Joseph Estrada, and bidding was done in 2012 during the administration of Noynoy Aquino.

LOOK: METRO MANILA SUBWAY HITS 50% COMPLETION—PH’S FIRST UNDERGROUND RAILWAY NEARS REALITY

The Metro Manila Subway, the country’s most ambitious and first-ever underground railway, has officially reached 50% completion, marking a major milestone in the Philippines’ push for modern, efficient, and sustainable mass transit.

PROJECT AT A GLANCE:
✅ 33-km subway with 17 stations across 8 cities (Valenzuela, Quezon City, Pasig, Taguig, Parañaque, Pasay, etc.)
✅ Links key business districts: Ortigas, BGC, Makati
✅ 8-car trains, each carrying up to 2,200 passengers
✅ 80 km/h speeds with 5-minute intervals between trains

COMMUTER IMPACT:
🚆 Travel from Valenzuela to NAIA will be cut from 1.5 hours to just 35 minutes
📉 Eases traffic congestion, expected to serve over 500,000 passengers daily

TIMELINE:
🛠️ Now 50% complete
🟡 Partial operations: by 2029
🟢 Full operations: 2030–2031
✈️ Includes spur line to NAIA Terminal 3

WHY IT MATTERS:
🌱 Part of the Build Better More agenda
🤝 Backed by Japanese funding and expertise
💼 Expected to boost economic activity and property values along its route

This transformative project signals a bold step toward a smarter, greener, and better-connected Metro Manila.

Magbasa din huwag one sided.

FALSE CLAIM: “Duterte added ₱7T debt without infra. BBM is repeating it.”

This is classic Dilawan disinformation: shallow, uninformed, dishonest, and meant to mislead.

REALITY CHECK:

🔸 Pnoy’s Admin (2010–2016)

– Yes, he only added ₱1.4T in debt — because he did the bare minimum.

– Infra spending stuck at ~2% of GDP, despite years of growth.

– ZERO big-ticket infra completed during his term.

– Dozens of PPP projects delayed by overregulation and red tape.

– Returned unutilized calamity and flood control funds even after Yolanda.

– Left NAIA dubbed “Worst Airport in the World” multiple times.

– Urban congestion worsened; no solution to traffic in Metro Manila.

– Northrail, MRT-7, LRT-1 Cavite Extension all stalled or left unstarted.

– Military modernization? Still using dilapidated ships and secondhand planes.

– Legacy? Credit ratings, “Daang Matuwid” branding, and press conferences.

Conclusion: Six years of safe politics, little risk, no vision, and no concrete legacy.

---------

🔸 Duterte (2016–2022) -- His BBB is one of the positive things about his admin

– Debt rose ₱6.8T — largely due to COVID-19 emergency funding, Bayanihan laws, vaccines, and stimulus packages.

(But his daughter attributed this debt to PBBM, WHICH IS WRONG!)

– BUT infrastructure spending was massively scaled, reaching 6% of GDP

– Key completed and advanced infra projects:

✅ Skyway Stage 3 – finally connected NLEX to SLEX.
✅ Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway – longest sea-crossing bridge.
✅ Clark Airport New Terminal – world-class, completed on time.
✅ BGC–Ortigas Bridge
✅ Binondo–Intramuros Bridge
✅ LRT-2 East Extension – 2 new stations after decades of delay.
✅ New Clark City Phase 1 – modern gov hub and sports facilities.
✅ MARCOS HIGHWAY widening, Davao Coastal Road, bypasses in Mindanao.
✅ Land Port in Taguig, completed seaports, roll-on/roll-off ports.
✅ Free Wi-Fi in public areas, including state universities and remote towns.
✅ DOTr modernization of terminals and port systems nationwide.

Conclusion: Duterte turned infrastructure into a core governance priority something OBJECTIVE OBSERVERS appreciate.

***Hindi ako katulad ng mga DDS na discredited projects ng isang presidente. But Sara Duterte is a hopeless situation.

------------

🔸 BBM (2022–2025)

– ₱3.2T in new debt (so far) — half Duterte’s pace, but funding ambitious modernization.

– Build Better More: ₱9.14T worth of 194 flagship projects, covering land, sea, air, digital, and agri.

– Key ongoing and future mega-projects:

✅ Metro Manila Subway – PH’s first subway, 33 km (Japan-funded)
✅ North–South Commuter Railway (NSCR) – ₱873B from Clark to Calamba
✅ Mindanao Railway (Phase 1) – Davao–Tagum–Digos underway
✅ Cebu BRT – finally under construction
✅ New NAIA Rehabilitation (₱170B PPP) – awarded in 2024
✅ New Manila International Airport (Bulacan, ₱735B) – 100M passenger capacity
✅ Davao, Kalibo, Laguindingan airport expansions
✅ Iloilo–Guimaras–Negros Bridge (₱189.6B) – in engineering phase
✅ Bataan–Cavite Interlink Bridge (₱175B) – 32 km span
✅ Batangas–Bauan Bridge – unlocking industrial corridors
✅ Panay Railway revival – feasibility confirmed, Chinese funding secured
✅ Pasig River Urban Rehab Project – cleanup, flood control, and green belt development
✅ Agri Infra – farm-to-market roads, post-harvest facilities, solar irrigation
✅ Cold Storage Hubs – built in Visayas and Mindanao for food security
✅ National Broadband Plan – expanding internet to remote areas
✅ eGov PH Super App, National Fiber Backbone, digital gov’t infra
✅ Renewables – Ilocos Norte wind-solar hybrid farm, more solar parks in pipeline
✅ Maharlika Investment Fund – co-financing platform for high-impact infra

Conclusion: BBM is scaling up everything the Philippines never had — a real subway, national railways, future-proof airports, and seamless logistics infrastructure.

-----

This is the problem with Dilawans: they’re master liars and smooth propagandists.

They cherry-pick data, erase context, and sell mediocrity as virtue.

“Low debt” is not an achievement if it came at the cost of rotting airports, stalled trains, poor flood control, and zero preparedness.

Duterte built. BBM is building even more.

Saan kuweba ka ba nakatira at hindi ka talaga updated? Basa rin pag may time.
