Low carb Asam curry pork belly

Most Chinese cuisines can be low carb IF you don’t add any store bought seasoning sauces, sugar or starch, start healthy cooking from home

My children’s top favorite pork belly recipe, simple and easy, sorry I don’t have exact measurement of ingredients 😅

Ingredients:
1) sliced pork belly about 300gm
2) 5 small onions, chopped
3) 2 stalks of lemongrass, mashed
4) curry leaves
5) 4 pieces of asam keping

Curry paste :
1) 2 tablespoons of Baba’s meat/fish curry powder
2) 1 tablespoon of Watch brand curry powder
3) 1-2 tablespoons of cili boh (I make my own fresh cili paste)

Mix 1,2 & 3 together

Seasoning:
1) 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce (no salt for this dish)
2) 1/2 cup of thick santan, I use packet one for convenient

Method:
1) heat up oil, sauté small onions and curry leaves till fragrant
2) add in lemongrass and asam keping
3) add in the curry paste, need to mix and stir quickly and add in the pork belly immediately
4) mix the spice well with the meat
5) add in santan and light soy sauce
6) lower fire and simmer till cooked

Enjoy 😊😋

亚参咖喱五花肉 - 我孩子最喜欢的五花肉食谱,简单易行,抱歉我没有准确的配料量😅

原料:
1)五花肉切片约300gm
2)5粒小洋葱,切碎
3)2根香茅,捣碎
4)咖喱叶
5) 4片asam keping

咖喱酱 :
1) 2汤匙巴巴肉/鱼咖喱粉
2) 手表牌咖喱粉 1汤匙
3) 1-2汤匙辣椒酱 (我自己做新鲜辣椒🌶️酱)

将 1,2 和 3 混合在一起

调味料:
1)生抽1汤匙(这道菜不加盐)
2)1/2杯浓椰奶,我用包装的比较方便

方法:
1) 烧热油,爆香小洋葱和咖喱叶
2) 加入香茅和亚参片
3) 加入咖喱酱,需要快速搅拌均匀后立即加入五花肉
4) 将香料与肉充分混合
5) 加入santan和生抽
6) 小火煮至熟

The prawns and fish are fresh, what I like is the cooking is very home cooked style 原汁原味,not heavily salted or seasoned, no MSG, which I don’t feel thirsty after eating

The prices are reasonable for this portion size of 2-3 persons, there’s only two of us, so, each of us eat till puas puas 😍

This is just the 1st meal of the trip, more ketone drink is needed to help better digestion and better fat burning,people said “吃得是福“, I said “食極都不肥才是福” 😝😜

Choose your food wisely and more importantly drink ketone before you eat 💪🏼💪🏼
