Sebagai sebuah Bandar Warisan, Taiping telah sekian lama terkenal dengan khazanah sejarahnya. Kini, bandar ini melangkah setapak lagi ke hadapan, dengan pelancaran Pelan Tindakan Bandar Pintar Taiping 2030. Dokumen ini adalah suatu tindakan jitu merangkul teknologi terkini ke arah menjadikan ia sebuah bandar pintar yang moden dan lestari, pada masa yang sama tetap mengekalkan kekayaan warisannya.

Dengan TM One sebagai rakan utama, inisiatif ini selaras dengan Perak Smart City Blueprint 2040 dan Rangka Kerja Bandar Pintar Malaysia. Penyelesaian digital inovatif yang diperkenalkan termasuk rangkaian IoT seluruh bandar, sistem penguatkuasaan automatik, dan Local Urban Observatory (LUO) – semua bertujuan untuk meningkatkan operasi bandar, keselamatan, dan kelestarian, sambil terus memelihara identiti warisan yang memukau.

YB Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan Negeri Perak, dan YBhg. Tuan Khairul Amir Bin Mohamad Zubir, Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Taiping, telah melancarkan Pelan Tindakan tersebut, baru-baru ini.

Under this collaboration, TM One is officially recognised as an Enablement Partner of CyberSecurity Malaysia’s Digital Trust initiative — an industry-first framework aimed at strengthening national cyber resilience, driving regulatory compliance, and fostering greater confidence in Malaysia’s digital economy.

Cyber DSA 2025 is officially kicking off on a high note by YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, at MITEC, bringing together government leaders, industry experts, and global partners to advance the mission of strengthening digital resilience.

TM One and QKAZ Kuantera are taking a significant step in strengthening Malaysia’s digital defences by collaborating to integrate post-quantum cryptography (PQC) into national cybersecurity infrastructure. This partnership supports Malaysia’s digital sovereignty, ensures compliance with global standards, and helps protect Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) from future threats.

The MoU was formalised by Mr. Balraj Singh Pannu, Director and CEO of QKAZ Kuantera, Mr. Vince Ng Chee Seng, President of QKAZ Kuantera, Shazurawati Abd Karim, EVP of TM One, and En. Ahmad Fairus Rahim, TM Group Chief Financial Officer, with senior leaders from both organisations present at the exchange.
