I wished to talk about AVF over dialysis catheter but was given the topic on tunneled cuff catheter over non-cuffed catheter which I think is appropriate. 67% incident ESKD in Malaysia initiated with non cuffed dialysis catheter!

Today’s time is well spend.

Covering Vas Intervention Lab today:
2 CTOs recanalisation with stenting and 1 recurrent CVO plasty with stenting.

Take opinion consult from IR friend on concurrent endovascular thrombectomy when I was scrubbed up in another tower.

One TDC before heading to evening clinic.

Today is my son’s birthday and also my record for 3 central vein stentings in a day. 😃

I must say CentrosFLO is 👍🏻 A case of limited vascular access with recurrent left EJV TCC fibrin sheath formation. After distrupting the fibrin sheath, we deployed CentrosFLO hoping that it last longer. Theoritically it is harder for fibrin sheath to grow over the pincer shaped tip.
