[SAVE THIS] You might remember if you frequent Changkat over the past few years. Back then, it was a themed restobar. Today, it is a resto, bar and cafe with a new concept.

In our observations, the establishment is a combination of a cafe, restaurant, and bar. Besides the restaurant, the cafe and the bar also provide services. The restaurant serves all the main meals, while Brew & Bread handles coffee and pastries and TAP & TAP provides cocktails.

The interior is beautifully designed with a resort-like ambiance. Moods of beige, wooden & rattan fixtures and decorative accents, green plants, all blend well together to create a relaxing and laid-back ambiance for chilling and relaxing by day.

If you decide to show up and try your luck, you might get lucky like we did because the place is full, seems to be doing well, and so there is a waiting line.

Consider adding your list of new cafes in KL for some downtime. We all need some of these holiday feelings after the past few chaotic pandemic years.

Located at 14 & 16, Changkat Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, 50200 Kuala Lumpur
Open Tue-Fri from 10AM - 12AM; Sat 8AM - 12AM; Sun 8AM - 10PM (GMT +8).

Bookmark this Vintage Cafe for your next chill day! Rustic and cosy, hiding out at in Kuala Lumpur during rainy days is pretty much the best idea ever.

A mint green front door and matching windows are accented by rattan and wooden furniture, evoking a vintage aesthetic. A courtyard with a skylight roof provides ample sunlight into the dining area as well ad the al fresco dining area.

There are fusion dishes at this double-storey restaurant such as Beef Stroganoff and Peri Peri Chicken with Wild Rice. However, we tried their Spaghetti and it tasted great with a reasonable price tag as well.

Consider adding to your list of new cafes in KL for some downtime. The best spots are the skylight roof on the 2nd floor with gloomy weather, or the outdoor seatings when the weather is dreary for that perfect Insta-worthy shot.

Located at 82, Lorong 1/77A, Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.
Open Tue-Sun from 10AM - 10PM (GMT + 8).

Calling all the cafe hoppers because there’s a new cafe in town that you simply have to check out! Come over to cafe, where you’ll find yourself cosied up in a minimalist-style cafe and enjoying some of their infamous toasts served on decorative white on white ambience.

We got their soft open right here. Minimalism is at the peak of its trend right now because almost everyone can appreciate the art of decluttered and calming spaces. It is a beautiful two-storey cafe with a white theme that will definitely help boost up your mood. The cafe boasts of white minimalism and an industrial theme with bits of nature. Making it a very aesthetic, instaworthy spot.

We have tried their coffee gula melaka, we recommend this latte. We also tried their toasts are sooooo good! This is definitely one of the better we’ve eaten in a while.

Why you need to go to this place: This place is definitely recommended to visit and try their perfect coffee, good ambience and enjoy!

PS: Don’t forget to practice social distancing, wear your masks properly, and adhere to the MCO SOP. Alternatively, add these spots onto your post-MCO checklist and head over when things get better - stay safe, everyone!

Located at Centrio Pantai Hillpark, 59000, 1, Jalan Pantai Murni, Centrio, 59200 Kuala Lumpur. During this soft open you can book through their IG account

If freshly baked traditional bread is what you crave, then head here for the best sourdough! Something yummy to do with a loaf of . Their concept recalling the nostalgic touch of traditional bakery shop. You’ll find such treasures here, along with a classic sourdough tin loaf perfect for sandwiches!

As you’d be able to see our pictures, the eatery is quite small because half the space is occupied by their open kitchen, yes you can see a whole baking process here, amazing! Seating aren’t plenty but there is a long table near kitchen with dried flowers on the table which matched with the bake shop. We really like what they did with the place, it is small yet cozy, smell of freshly bake goods all around.

beverage list is simple, typical of artisan baker. We enjoyed by slice in the cafe with coffee and slices of Assorted Dough sided with jam and french butter, add on with cookies and boiled eggs. The sourdough here is undeniable one of the best in town! You can’t go wrong ordering anything accompanied by the housemade sourdough.
