1000!
Today is our 1000th post here on Instagram. And with that, we want to announce that we will go into an indefinite break. There are several reasons for that, but one of the biggest deal breakers is, that we want to rethink our strategy, especially for our Instagram account. Over the last couple of months, the platform has become more of a beta version of Tik Tok, and we feel like we can´t reach the people in our network any more. By not creating any own reels, Instagram punished us hard, our engagement, reach, followers and likes dropped drastically from one day to the other in February. Moreover, more and more bots are active and making it a pretty nasty platform, where you have to spend half of the time cleaning up your followers, messages, and comments. And once again, since we are not creating our own reels, due to the other workload we have with photography and video projects, it is not possible for us at the moment to keep it running as we did before.
But that doesn´t mean the end of our social media appearance or activity on Instagram. It´s just a break for an indefinite time until we come up with creative solutions, new energy, and hopefully more time to create content. So please stay with us and give us a little bit of time.
And with that, we also want to have a quick look back at the last three years. We are amazed that we could build such a strong and unique network - but that wouldn´t have been possible without you guys. It is basically you, the content creators of Malaysia who built this platform with us. You guys connected over our Instagram with each other, you all shared the passion for photography and videography and you guys created some incredible content that you shared with the community and us here. This is so awesome - and that was exactly the goal we had from the beginning. What a movement - we are super happy about that. And we won´t let you down or give this up. So once again, keep on creating, don´t forget about us and we will see each other very soon again. And remember...."Create, don´t hate"
