Grateful to be brought on by 160over90 for HSBC’s The Viktor Program — and honestly, such a special one to be part of. This was a true collaboration across teams from Australia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, which made the whole experience even more meaningful.
Malaysia was chosen for its rich multicultural spirit, and it was great to be able to showcase that diversity on screen.
Working alongside Viktor was something we won’t forget anytime soon. World-class on court, and just as warm, humble, and genuine off it. What stood out most was how he connected with the kids on set — sharing simple, down-to-earth tips that genuinely inspired and motivated them. You could see the impact instantly.
A special thank you as well to the team at DuoSpark and ex-national badminton player Daphne Ng for helping bring together such wonderful young talents for the film.
Also, huge shoutout to the location management and art department teams for the incredible work in recreating environments representing Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and China. The amount of detail and effort that went into bringing each space to life made such a big difference on screen.
With his recent retirement announcement, just want to say a big thank you. Viktor, it was a real honour to be part of this journey — wishing you all the best in what’s next.
And of course, big thanks to the amazing team at 160over90 (Honae, Nick, Katie, Kay & Zephy) for the trust and collaboration.
