did you know you can camp in Milford Sound?!

We spent 2 nights at a powered site at Milford Sound Lodge and I truly could not recommend it enough. C’mon just look at these views?!?!!!

… followed by a night of my favourite kind of camping (staying in their premium riverside chalets hahaha)

I hear they even have some snazzy new hot tubs so you know i’m already plotting my return.

you need to stay at Milford Sound Lodge at least once in your life!

Most people visit Piopiotahi as a day trip but let me tell you, there is something truly magic about falling asleep and waking up amongst the ‘8th Wonder of the World’

and there is no better place to experience it
(given it is the ONLY place you can legally stay)

We spent 2 nights in a powered camper site here,
Before wrapping up with an extra special night in these Premium Riverside Chalets

and I still won’t shut up about it

no I wont shut up about this tiny house in NSW

and once you experience its riverside outdoor bath, bespoke sauna, cosy bedroom projector set up, endless tea collection, two fireplaces and meet its resident carrot enthusiast, you won’t want to either!

new fave tiny house stay unlocked 🔓

From waterfall onsen hotels in Japan
to Castles in France
and overwater bungalows in the Solomon Islands

Now comes a luxury tiny house with outdoor bath, bespoke sauna AND a horse?!? in Old Bar, NSW (yep, only 2hrs from Newy!)

What unique stay should I investigate for us next?!

and i’m not just talking about the budget side…

In fact, everything here from:
✈️ - Seaplane transfers
🥁- Boduberu performances
💃🏽- Joining the dance parade of the Koadi for Eid
🥥 - Colourful local feasts where the entire village brought food for us to enjoy together
👻 - Tsunami/Ghost Island which was completely abandoned after the 2004 earthquake
🪘- an island museum with over 400 local artifacts and black magic history
🌦️- snorkelling in the middle of a rainy season storm

were all during my short but sweet 4 day stay at one of the Maldives most unique luxury overwater resorts - coracoramaldives

Don’t get me wrong, I know the Maldives is well and truly iconic as a tourist hot spot, with overwater villas at the top of almost every bucketlist….

Yet there are still so many parts of its landscapes, culture and experiences that will surprise you if you dive a little deeper and that is why I stand by my underrated rating.

is this the best tiny house in Australia??

The Tiny Mile has my vote with every detail made with love from under bed luggage storage and above bed projector to bespoke sauna and luxe outdoor bath.
Oh how could I forget about resident horse Munro!

After a decade of chasing the most unique destinations and stays around the world I can’t believe I stumbled across a new favourite only 2hrs from home!
