Four years ago, MyAviation Magazine began with a simple vision , to create a platform where aviation stories, people, ideas and opportunities could come together.

Today, we celebrate 4 years of MyAviation Magazine.

From conversations with aviation leaders and policymakers to stories on airlines, airports, safety, people, aeromedical aviation and the future of our industry, every edition has been part of an incredible journey.
There were challenges, lessons and many late nights along the way , but also the privilege of meeting remarkable people and telling stories that matter.

Our sincere appreciation to our readers, contributors, industry leaders, partners and the aviation community who have supported us throughout these four years.

4 Years of Stories That Matter.
Inform. Inspire. Connect.

The journey continues and I believe the best chapters of MyAviation are still ahead. Onwards to a brighter tomorrow.

Based on operational experience, real-world mission exposure, clinical capability, healthcare integration, and industry maturity, this is our assessment:

🥇 India – 9.8/10
India continues to lead Asia with extensive operational experience, a high volume of domestic and international aeromedical missions, advanced critical care transport capabilities, and a well-established network of specialised providers.

🥈 Singapore – 9.3/10
A premium aeromedical hub recognised for operational excellence, efficient coordination, and high clinical standards in international medical transport.

🥉 Japan – 9.2/10
A mature healthcare system with strong emergency response capabilities and highly developed hospital-based aeromedical services.

Thailand – 8.8/10
A respected regional player with considerable experience in medical tourism and international patient transfers.

South Korea – 8.7/10
Strong healthcare infrastructure supported by steadily expanding aeromedical capabilities.

Malaysia – 7.8/10
Malaysia possesses excellent hospitals, highly skilled healthcare professionals, and a strategic location within ASEAN. However, there remains significant opportunity to further develop specialised aeromedical operations, increase mission volume, strengthen training, and expand regional collaboration.

Looking Ahead

Asia's aeromedical sector continues to evolve rapidly. As demand for critical care transport, cross-border medical evacuation, and specialised retrieval services grows, collaboration between healthcare providers, aviation operators, regulators, and training organisations will be essential.

This ranking reflects our professional opinion and is intended to encourage discussion, knowledge sharing, and the continued advancement of aeromedical services throughout Asia.

Our editorial team is currently preparing a comprehensive report on the current state of aeromedical services across Asia. The report will assess operational maturity, mission experience, healthcare integration, specialised transport capabilities, and regional development based on industry observations and editorial analysis.

This special feature will be published in the next issue of MyAviation Magazine, providing readers with insights into the evolving aeromedical landscape across the region.
