A Millennialโs Confession
They say millennials are obsessed with traveling.
And maybe we are.
But can you blame us?
We grew up watching our parents give everything,
follow every rule, sacrifice every dream,
only to end up tired, still searching for happiness that was never guaranteed.
We were told:
Go to school. Get a stable job. Buy a house. Start a family.
But somewhere along the way, we realized, that checklist wasnโt a promise, it was a pattern.
So we broke it. โ๏ธ
We book flights instead of mortgages.
We collect passport stamps instead of plates.
We choose sunsets over overtime.
Because millennials arenโt lazy, weโre awake.
Weโve seen what โplaying it safeโ can cost.
We donโt want to just exist. We want to feel alive.
Travel isnโt us running away,
itโs us running toward the version of ourselves we almost forgot.
We might not have it all figured out,
but at least, weโre living stories worth telling.
