Standing on stage, receiving the Cosplayer Award from His Excellency Mr. Noriyuki Shikata, Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia… it still feels like a dream. ✨💖

This award is part of a special recognition for individuals and groups who have made meaningful contributions in promoting Japanese culture and values in Malaysia—and I’m so honored to be the recipient for the Cosplayer Category. 🇲🇾
Thank you Japan Expo Malaysia 💖

This moment is especially emotional for me because this year marks my 20th anniversary since I first started cosplaying. I thought long and hard about what to wear for such a meaningful milestone, and I chose Yue from Cardcaptor Sakura—one of the very first anime that I watched which sparked my love for anime and cosplay when I was a little girl 🥺

Cosplay isn’t just a hobby for me. It became my lifeline, my passion, my path. I struggled a lot growing up, and cosplay truly saved me. What began as something fun slowly turned into a career—something people never imagined was even possible back then. And yet, here I am, 12 years into doing it professionally, all because of the love and support you’ve given me. 🥹

People often ask how I’ve stayed passionate for so long. It’s because cosplay is always evolving. I started with DIY costumes, no wigs, and hand-modified outfits… then studied Fashion Design to bring my visions to life. Today, I pour my heart into content creation—and I was honestly planning to retire 5 years ago, but then I met Preston . He reignited that spark in me. He’s the magic behind my photos and those amazing sometimes silly (but fun!) reels we make together. 💖

I’m so, so grateful for everyone who’s been with me through this journey—for every word of encouragement, every photo taken, every memory shared. Thank you for loving me and my cosplay. I’ll continue doing my best to create meaningful and entertaining content for as long as I can.

This award isn’t just mine—it’s ours. I wouldn’t be standing on that stage with a smile if it weren’t for all of you. 🥹
