恭贺！ 《摇篮凡世》2025年继续前进「第27届上海国际电影节」！

由马来西亚晟创娱乐、香港离线映画有限公司、岛影映画和匠子映画联合制作出品，张吉安导演新作《摇篮凡世》，入选「第27届上海国际电影节」的「年度亚洲电影」！ 《摇篮凡世》由廖子妤、许恩怡、袁富华、蔡宝珠、原腾等人领衔主演，以马来西亚弃婴保护舱为故事起点，为凡世中受苦的女性发声。

影展发布，「年度亚洲电影」以梳理知名亚洲电影作者，盘点最新的亚洲电影佳作，呈现亚洲电影的多元面貌，将本年度不可错过的电影新作一网打尽，其中亦有名导加持和巨星亮相，当中入选的18部作品，包括日本影星木村拓哉主演的《巴黎大饭店》、日本导演井上刚改编自村上春树小说的《地震之后》等作品，将于6月13 - 22日，在上海各大影厅首度亮相！

《摇篮凡世》将于6月15日、17日和18日，在「第27届上海国际电影节」展映3场！

Great News! PAVANE FOR AN INFANT continues its journey at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2025!

Produced by SunStrong Entertainment, Offline Pictures, Southern Islet Pictures and Janji Pictures, director Chong Keat Aun’s latest film Pavane for an Infant has been selected for the ASIAN COLLECTION at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival! Starring Fish Liew, Natalie Hsu, Ben Yuen, Pearlly Chua, and Yuan Teng, the film with real-life setting of Malaysia’s baby hatch gives voice to women who suffer quietly in society.

According to the official announcement, the ASIAN COLLECTION highlights notable works by acclaimed Asian filmmakers, offering a rich panorama of Asia’s cinematic diversity. The curated lineup includes 18 must-see new films, featuring renowned directors and stars. Notable selections include Grand Maison Paris starring Japanese actor Takuya Kimura, and After the Quake, a Haruka Mukarami adaptation by Japanese director Tsuyoshi Inoue. All films will screen from June 13-22 in Shanghai!

SIFF will be showing three screenings of PAVANE FOR AN INFANT on June 15, 17, and 18, so stay tuned!

【港版海报公开 6月19日献映】《 #摇篮凡世》 PAVANE FOR AN INFANT

马来西亚导演张吉安继《南巫》、《五月雪》后再推新作《摇篮凡世》，聚集马拉西亚一角的弃婴保护舱开展故事，将魔幻风格融入赤裸现实，直视女性在凡世中的苦痛与挣扎。主演廖子妤、许恩怡、袁富华苦练口音，如鱼得水演活在地角色，联同大马实力派演员蔡宝珠，深刻揭示女性在神权、父权社会下的身体自主的窘境。

《摇篮凡世》早前获选为香港国际电影节开幕电影，入围东京国际电影节「亚洲未来」竞赛单元，入选台北金马国际影展，足迹远及瑞士、德国、芬兰，获得海外口碑好评，展现了跨越国界的普世共性。

《摇篮凡世》即将于香港率先公映，港版海报今日正式公开。幽深色调有如东南亚独有的神秘面纱，数之不尽的意符增添魔幻现实色彩。身着米南加保族传统服饰的廖子妤与许恩怡站在画面边缘，目光共同望向前方。孕育生命的水流淹没了她们的半身，映衬出那些未获母亲拥抱的婴儿，无辜而脆弱地蜷缩于摇篮似的水中载浮载沉，去向未明。

[Hong Kong Poster Released | In Cinemas June 19] - PAVANE FOR AN INFANT

Following his acclaimed works The Story of Southern Islet and Snow in Midsummer, Malaysian director Chong Keat Aun returns with his latest feature, Pavane for an Infant. Set in a quiet corner of Malaysia, the film explores a baby shelter where the raw realities of life intertwine with a touch of magical realism-shedding light on the pain, resilience, and struggles of women navigating a patriarchal and theocratic society.

Leading the cast are Fish Liew, Natalie Hsu, and Ben Yuen, who immersed themselves in local dialects and cultures to portray their roles with authenticity and nuance. Joining them is celebrated Malaysian actress Pearlly Chua, whose performance adds depth to the film’s powerful exploration of bodily autonomy and feminine agency.

Pavane for an Infant premiered as the opening film of the Hong Kong International Film Festival and was shortlisted for the "Asian Future" section at the Tokyo International Film Festival. It was also featured at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, and has screened across Switzerland, Germany, and Finland-garnering critical acclaim and resonating with audiences across cultural boundaries.

Ahead of its Hong Kong release, a new poster was unveiled today. With its rich, moody tones evoking the mystique of Southeast Asia, the image is layered with symbolic details that echo the film’s magical realist spirit. Fish Liew and Natalie Hsu, dressed in traditional Minangkabau attire, appear at the edge of the composition, their expressions contemplative. The water-both a symbol of life and mystery-half-submerges their bodies, while infants, fragile and unheld, drift like petals in a cradle of water, their fates uncertain.
