Fellowship Opportunity: Road Safety Reporting

AIBD, in collaboration with WHO is organizing a 3-day Regional Train-the-Trainer Workshop on Road Safety Reporting in Ha Noi, Viet Nam (2–6 November 2025).

Who can apply?
We are seeking mid-career journalists from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, China, and Viet Nam who:

- Have prior experience reporting on road safety issues in their countries

- Have a background in development or solutions-based journalism

- Are motivated to mentor colleagues and share knowledge in their newsrooms

Why join?
- Strengthen your reporting on systemic road safety issues using the WHO Safe Systems Approach
- Apply Solutions Journalism to create impactful, evidence-based stories
- Access mentoring and compete for WHO small grants (USD 1,000 each) to produce stories or run newsroom trainings
- Join a growing regional network of road safety reporters
