You guys should’ve seen how I used my blanket to shield myself from the bug. I guess this is how you know spring is here and summer’s coming… 🪲 pls no more… I’ve learned my lesson.

I’m not the most skilled when it comes to styling my hair… 😅but I still try my best to look presentable (on days where I actually need to 🥹)

I know a lot of you are on the same boat as me, completely clueless about what to do with your hair half the time. So this isn’t me teaching you how to style, it’s just me sharing something that genuinely made my life easier.

When I first got the DREAME Pocket Uni Hair Dryer, I thought the anti-frizz nozzle was the most useless attachment… (because I’ve literally never used one before). But who would’ve thought… it’s now the one I use every single day.

Especially now that my hair is at that awkward length, curling makes it look too much and not doing anything is like anyone waking up with a bed hair. So yes, if you’ve been looking for something like this, consider DREAME.

Mine is the DREAME Pocket Uni Hair Dryer, perfect for me cuz I travel a lot and it’s super compact

This is just 1 out of the 50 options they have in the North Cafeteria in Fudan. The options are really endless and 90% of the food is below ¥20. It’s mainly the non Chinese food that’s more expensive like Japanese 🇯🇵 , Western 🇺🇸 , Korean 🇰🇷 , etc. The Malaysian laksa that I mentioned… I think that costs ¥35 so if it doesn’t taste good, I will be really upset but it’s ok…

Honestly I’ve been loving the cafeteria 🍱 , my friends and I eat it almost every day and it’s such a money saving meal too (even though MeiTuan is already so so cheap) 💵

Will be filming more of the cafeteria too so stay tuned!

The international student dorms in Fudan 🇨🇳 can go as low as ¥6000 for the WHOLE SEMESTER, but of course, the living standards differ a lot. For example, no elevator, shared toilets 🚽 , have roommates, etc. If you need help searching up the links, let me know! ✨

I didn’t include transport 🚊 because I can walk to campus (although I bought an electric scooter 🛵 because the weather is just way too cold 🥶 for me to walk long distances). It takes me around 20 mins to walk to my class.

I believe the absolute lowest you will need is at least 💵 RM15,000. This is if you stay in the university dorm, if you don’t eat out often and if you mainly stay indoors.

Alternatively, you can choose another city in China to do your studies because Shanghai is known to be the most expensive city in China~ I was actually contemplating between Shanghai (Fudan) or Hangzhou (ZheJiang) and ended up choosing Fudan purely because it is based in Shanghai~

Next video will be room tour 🛏️ ! And then after that, probably a video on my course/classes/syllabus 📚

PS : I’m using the word “Chinese” instead of “Mandarin” because it is easier to be understood by a wider group of people.

There’s just something about walking into The St.Regis KL where everything smells good 🌺, looks polished 🪞 and runs smoothly.

It’s also such a nice way to reset. You sleep 😴 better, you eat 😋 better and you actually use the facilities 🏋️ Suddenly, a normal 24 hours feels a little special.

Was not able to showcase everything that happened in this 2 minute video but of course, do expect more from the hotel! 😉

We truly enjoyed our stay, the butlers were really splendid and overall, we absolutely did not want to leave…

Definitely motivated us to work harder 😅 Oh btw, do note that the room price may vary depending on season.

‼️ Disclaimer ‼️: This hotel stay was fully sponsored by St. Regis and this video is a reflection of my personal experience.

📍130 ตลาด Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand

I don’t remember how I started eating this but it is definitely a piece of my childhood. I used to spend my holidays in Bangkok (back in primary school) and I would look for this every time! Even now, when my family visits Thailand, I’ll always ask them to buy some for me 🥹

Lots of people I know told me they’ve never heard of this before and I truly think it deserves more recognition!
