🟡 Recap Kes Kampung Papan:

📌 Penduduk Kampung Papan telah mendesak kerajaan Selangor memberi jaminan rasmi bahawa perobohan rumah akan berhenti sehingga tawaran perumahan hitam-putih diberikan.

📌 "EXCO kata hanya rumah kosong akan dirobohkan, tetapi rumah yang berpenghuni juga dirobohkan," kata Timbalan Pengerusi Persatuan Penduduk Kampung Papan, Teoh Ah Guat. Perobohan rumah yang berpenghuni berlaku antara 10-14 November.

📌 Menurut Timbalan Presiden PSM, Kampung Papan sebenarnya dibuka oleh peneroka yang menetap sejak tahun 1939. Peneroka turut diberi Lesen Pendudukan Sementara oleh kerajaan pada tahun 1968-1989.

📌 Pada tahun 2004, kerajaan negeri Selangor memberi Tabung Projek Perumahan Terbengkalai (TPPT), sebuah anak syarikat Bank Negara, hak milik tanah untuk menyediakan penempatan baru kepada peneroka.

📌 TPPT menjual sebahagian tanah itu kepada pemaju Melati Ehsan pada tahun 2007. Menurut satu memorandum, Melati Ehsan telah berjanji untuk membina rumah gantian untuk peneroka Kampung Papan.

📌 Pada tahun 2018, penduduk Kampung Papan ditawar rumah teres 20' x 70' dengan tawaran harga RM99,000 dan Rumah Selangorku jenis B keluasan 800sqft dengan harga yang sama.

📌 Namun, janji itu masih belum ditunaikan walaupun telah menunggu bertahun-tahun.

📌 Susulan sidang media yang diadakan oleh penduduk dan PSM pada 17 Nov, EXCO perumahan Borhan bin Aman Shah mengesahkan bahawa pemaju Melati Ehsan telah menyerahkan 7 ekar tanah kepada kerajaan negeri untuk membangunkan rumah untuk peneroka Kampung Papan. Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad dilantik untuk melaksanakan projek perumahan tersebut.

📌 Sekumpulan penduduk dan aktivis berhimpun di depan pejabat Melati Ehsan hari ini (21 Nov) bagi menuntut tawaran penempatan yang lebih adil susulan perobohan rumah mereka minggu lalu.

📍 A 2-year-old Russian boy passed away on Wednesday morning after being stung by a box jellyfish at Langkawi's Chenang beach on Saturday.

• The boy's father Nikita Iakubanets, 32, said his son Vladimir was pronounced dead at 9.46am after 4 days of treatment. "The doctor said that our child was poisoned by a jellyfish, then his heart stopped... the doctor said our child had very big injuries on his legs."

• Nikita said he, his wife Olga, and his son were swimming at the beach on Saturday when the boy screamed in pain. Nikita attempted CPR before first responders at the beach washed the boy's wound with vinegar and sent him to a clinic, then the hospital.

• "We believe this was the purpose of his life — to save others, to prevent future tragedies. Vladimir was very kind, very smart. We were a happy family," Nikita said. The couple plans to cremate their son and bring his ashes back home to Russia.

• Kedah Fisheries director Sukri Deris later confirmed the presence of box jellyfish stands at a moderate level this year, and is not at a scale that would require recreational activities to be completely halted. Public awareness campaigns about the dangers of jellyfish will continue.

📍🟡 A summary of the 63-page motivated decision released by the FIFA Appeal Committee on the upholding of the sanctions against the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and 7 'heritage' Harimau Malaya players.

📌 FIFA rejected the narrative that the players were passive victims of an orchestrated scheme, noting that they showed complete disregard for personal responsibility and acted with gross negligence.

📌 FIFA also categorically rejected FAM's attempt to minimise the seriousness of its conduct by characterising the deliberate alteration of documents as mere "administrative adjustments". The body further highlighted FAM's failure to identify those responsible for the forgery even after several months have passed.

📌 The use of falsified documents also resulted in undue sporting gain for FAM and the players, FIFA said. It noted that the players actively participated in 5 international matches, including a Tier-1 friendly against Palestine on 8 September 2025. Malaysia had won the match 1-0, with the sole goal scored by one of the foreign-born players.

📌 "Had the disciplinary committee been able to examine all the materials now available in these appeal proceedings, the sanctions imposed on all the Appellants would be significantly higher," it concluded. FIFA stressed that forgery is a criminal offense in virtually all jurisdictions.

📌 On 26 Sept, FIFA fined FAM RM1.8 million and imposed a 12-month ban on 7 'heritage' players after uncovering irregularities in their registration documents. The players involved are: Gabriel Palmero, Facundo Tomas Garces, Rodrigo Julián Holgado, Imanol Javier Machuca, Joao Vitor Brandao Figueiredo, Jon Irazabal Iraurgui and Hector Alejandro Hevel Serrano.
