The Kuala Lumpur Art Book Fair (KLABF) is a multi-day
event where publications are showcased and sold by
exhibitors from various creative backgrounds, including
artists, illustrators, designers, independent publishers,
writers, photographers, institutions, and printmakers.

Why exhibit at KLABF?
Last year, more than 6,000 visitors came through KLABF. Readers, collectors, fellow makers, curious newcomers. They came to find things they couldn’t find elsewhere. They came to meet the makers behind the work.

KLABF is also a community. Three days alongside publishers and artists from across the region, sharing notes, swapping books, finding collaborators. The conversations that happen at the booth often outlast the fair itself.

And it’s a platform. A curated space that takes independent publishing seriously, with programming, press, and visibility built around the work.

KL Art Book Fair will be participating in BIGGER Art Book Fair Shenzhen 2026 as part of one of the fair’s exhibition activations.

BIGGER is an independent art book fair connecting artists, illustrators, designers, publishers and creative practitioners, guided by the idea that “Thinking is bigger than a book.”

The fair brings together an art market, exhibitions, founder talks and workshops, creating a space for independent publishing and creative exchange.
