RTM has officially landed in Iran for the Iranian International Festival 2025 (28 Nov – 2 Dec)… ready to show the world what Malaysian creativity really looks like. 🚀

What did we pack in our suitcase?
✨ Srikandi – our homegrown drama now strutting onto the global stage
✨ RTMKlik & RTM shows – Malaysia’s flavour, stories, and a whole lot of personality

Who’s holding the fort?
👤 En. Ruhaizal – Drama Unit (the storyteller)
👤 En. Wai – Marketing (the strategist)

Our mission?
Simple. Spread Malaysian content. Make new friends. Open new doors. And maybe convince the world that Malaysia has some of the best stories around. 😉🎥🇲🇾

✨ RTM takes on ancient Khiva! ✨
Our team went full explorer-mode today as they roamed three amazing heritage spots — Amir Khan Madrasah, Ulul Hovli and Arda Khiva.

From turquoise tiles that look straight out of Pinterest, to courtyards carved with crazy-detailed patterns, to old palace walls that have seen centuries of Khorezm history… Khiva did NOT disappoint. 😍🔥

And honestly — salute to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 for keeping these heritage gems alive while still making them super visitor-friendly.
Culture + tourism = winning combo!

The Global Media Tourism Campus (GMTC) programme brought the international media delegates to the historic Ark Fortress — once the seat of power for the Emirs of Bukhara. Its towering walls and ancient passageways offered the delegates a glimpse into Bukhara’s rich past and its vital role along the legendary Silk Road.

The journey continued at the Samanid Museum, home to the Mausoleum of Ismail Samani — a masterpiece over a thousand years old and considered one of Central Asia’s most treasured architectural gems. Its intricate brickwork and perfectly balanced design continue to amaze visitors from around the world.

The Global Media Tourism Campus (GMTC) took the international media delegates on a colourful adventure to the Silk Road University of Tourism in Samarkand — the place where Uzbekistan shapes its future tourism and hospitality stars. ✨🎓

Kicked off the day at sunrise, speeding out of Tashkent’s Northern Railway Station on the glam and glowing Afrosiyob bullet train — because if you’re going to explore the Silk Road, might as well do it in style, right? 🚄✨

Samarkand.. one of the crown jewels of the Ancient Silk Road. The adventure button went ON.

Amir Temur Mausoleum? Legendary.
Registan? A whole jaw-dropping moment.
Siyob Bazaar? Our wallets whispered “good luck”.
Bibikhanim Mosque? Stunning from every angle.
Hazrati Khizir Complex? Calm enough to make anyone feel poetic. 🕌💛

The entire day running around like happy travellers discovering treasures along an ancient trading route — history, culture, architecture… Samarkand delivered EVERYTHING. 🔥✨

Day 2 Adventures 😎✨

Today’s mission: collect culture points — and maybe a few cute selfies along the way.
We made our way through two absolute icons — the Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Art and the Hazrati-Imam Complex — where the architecture was giving “main character energy” and our camera crew tried their best not to get overshadowed. 😂📸

Every hallway, courtyard, and ancient brick whispered stories… while we whispered,
“Wait, take another one — this angle nicer.”

Uzbekistan really said: culture, beauty, vibes, repeat.
And honestly? We’re here for ALL of it. 💫✨🌍

Two of our officers from RTM Perak, Ms. Norshahana Kamaruddin (Journalist) & Mr. Mohd Izzuan Ishak (Camera Crew) are flying to Uzbekistan today for the Global Tourism Media Campus 2025 (18–28 Nov).

They’re all set to learn, explore, make new friends, and bring home a story or two we can (or can’t) put on air. 😉✨

Owh!! And maybe “accidentally” shop a little too much along the way. 😉👜✨
