I grabbed my activewear, ready to head out and crush my workout. But as I passed the kids’ room, the carpet caught my eye. 𝘩𝘮𝘮... 𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯.

Then the inner lady, 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘤 what my mother calls, voice kicked in: “Why spend money? Let it soak while out. Later scrub and rinse, quick job.” Swiftly I rolled up my pajamas, grabbed the soap, scrubber, vacuum, and—

…Two hours later…
The “quick job” turned into a full-blown workout.

Moral: usual gym vibe can be spiced up when you’ve got mom-life DIY chaos 💪😂 It was fun today. Can’t wait to lay down the fresh carpet once it’s dry.
