The incredible thing about this film is being blessed finding such a remarkable cast, namely Jassvind, our 11-year-old lead. From his carefree, cheeky dance moves to his natural charm, Jassvind radiates an infectious energy that perfectly captures the spirit of Lakshman. Then, his Bharatanatyam performance, guided by Mathuri, elevates the film with a sequence that beautifully contrasts his earlier scenes.
Filming at Panggung Bandaraya DBKL added its own magic. This iconic theatre, with over a century of history built in 1904, provided a timeless, layered atmosphere that gave the film raw unadulterated beauty.
A heartfelt thank you to Accenture Song for their wonderful script and collaborative spirit. Best gila kerja with you guys, Zaheer Kaisar, Cherry Lee and your entire troopers! Positive vibes start to finish. Macam tu la best kerja 🙂 Also with such a well-crafted script already in place, my role was simply to bring it to life.
