National Special Shoutout : The Home Turf Heroes 🇲🇾 - Perodua C2 Concept Car.
Perodua showed us what the future might look like.
The Perodua C2 Concept (“Chapter 2”) was one of the most talked-about concepts at KLIMS 2026, offering a glimpse into the brand’s next-generation design and technology direction. With its sleek fastback silhouette, futuristic lighting signatures, and minimalist cabin, it feels like a dramatic departure from anything we’ve seen from Perodua before.
While elements such as the semi-yoke steering wheel and concept-car interior may never reach production unchanged, the real story lies underneath. Developed alongside Magna Steyr, the new modular platform is designed to support multiple powertrain types, including BEVs, hybrids, and range-extended EVs, giving Perodua significant flexibility for future models.
Equally interesting is the integration of Perodua’s upcoming P-Circle ecosystem, which promises connected services, AI-assisted features, digital payments, smart charging integration, and a more seamless ownership experience through a single platform.
The C2 may be a concept, but the technology behind it feels very real. More than anything, it offers an exciting preview of where Malaysia’s largest carmaker could be heading over the next few years.
