🔵 Bluebirds Network

Dan Pritchard has been asked to write about Cardiff City’s 2025/26 season, reflecting on what has been a memorable campaign both on and off the pitch.

In his article, Dan looks back on the highs, the challenges, the incredible moments that brought supporters together, and the passion shown by the Bluebirds faithful throughout the season.

He also pays tribute to the members of the Cardiff City family we sadly lost during the year. Supporters who may no longer be with us, but whose love for this football club will never be forgotten. Their presence, memories, and stories remain part of what makes Cardiff City so special.

A season to remember, a fanbase to be proud of, and a chance to honour those Bluebirds who will always be with us in spirit.

🚨 𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗞: Cardiff City 26/27 Away Shirt 👀🐦

Images have surfaced online of what appears to be Cardiff City’s possible new away kit for the upcoming season… and opinions are already split. 🔥

The shirt features a clean cream/ecru base with blue and red trim around the collar and sleeves — giving strong retro vibes while still looking modern. The subtle pinstripe texture across the material adds a premium feel, and the overall colour palette feels very different from recent away shirts. 👕

One of the biggest talking points is the new-style bluebird badge design on the chest. 🐦
A much more simplified and minimal look compared to previous badges — potentially hinting at a fresh branding direction from the club.

The “Visit Malaysia” sponsor remains front and centre, while Castore continue as kit manufacturer.

Some fans are calling it classy and one of the best away shirts in years… others aren’t convinced by the badge change at all. 👀

What’s your verdict, Bluebirds? 🤔

GET IT DONE, CITY. 🔵⚪️

Cardiff City are pushing to secure Nathan Trott on a permanent deal after his outstanding, promotion-winning season on loan from Copenhagen.

Positive talks have already taken place with the former England youth international — and this feels like a move that just makes sense.

A keeper who delivered when it mattered most.
A team building for the Championship.
Momentum is growing…

Get this one over the line. 💙

We’re asking the Bluebirds family to come together for Damion, who is taking on an unbelievable challenge for a cause incredibly close to his heart.

He’ll be covering 96 miles across the Scottish Highlands, over several days, carrying his gear and camping along the way. A huge test of strength and resilience—but one driven by something far bigger.

Damion’s son, Elis, is autistic. Like many families, they’ve found real support and comfort through local ALN/SEND groups—safe spaces where children like Elis can feel understood, accepted, and free to be themselves.

Now, Damion is giving back.

Every donation will go towards sensory toys and books for these groups, helping more children access the same support, while also raising awareness for autism.

💚 No donation is too small—every bit makes a real difference.

Let’s get behind one of our own and show what the Bluebirds community is all about. 💙

Today marks 99 years since 1927 FA Cup Final — the day Cardiff City FC made history as the first and only club outside England to lift the FA Cup.

A moment that will live forever in football history. Pride, passion, and a club that showed the world what Cardiff is all about.

And as if that wasn’t enough… just one week later, we went and lifted the 1927 Welsh Cup Final too.

A legendary double. A legacy that still runs through every Bluebird today.

99 years on, we remember the heroes, the history, and the badge we wear with pride.

💙 Up the City.

After the game, me and Annis had a proper chat… and it just didn’t feel right not to say something.

We spoke about one of our own we’ve lost — Dai Hunt.

Football puts everything into perspective sometimes. One minute you’re talking about results, performances, promotion… and the next, you’re thinking about the people who made it all mean something in the first place.

Dai wasn’t just a fan. He lived Cardiff City. Through every high, every low, every away day, every moment — he was there. Passionate, loyal, and cared more than most ever will.

I keep thinking back to that moment in 2018… going down at half-time to remind the players what it truly meant to wear that badge. That’s not normal support — that’s love for a club.

He might not be in that seat anymore, but his presence will never leave. The songs, the memories, the passion — that stays with us.

We’ll keep singing your name. One of our own. 💙🕊️

R.I.P Dai Hunt 💙🕊️

A true Bluebird, through every high and every low. You stood by Cardiff City with loyalty that never wavered, no matter the noise, no matter the opinions because that’s what it means to be one of our own.

Yesterday, we got promoted… and while it won’t feel the same for everyone, it’s a moment you would’ve taken pride in. A moment you deserved to see. But your spirit, your passion, and your love for this club lives on in all of us who carry it forward.

Football is more than just a game — it’s people like you who make it what it is.

Rest easy, Dai. Always one of us. 💙
