HAJJ CARNIVAL

3rd HAJJ, UMRAH & TOURISM CARNIVAL MEDIA CONFERENCE (KHUP 3)

MEDIA RELEASE

16,000 VISITORS ARE TARGETED TO ATTEND THE 2025 PJH CARNIVAL

Kuala Lumpur, 23 DECEMBER 2024 - The third Hajj, Umrah and Tourism Carnival 1446H/2025 jointly organized by the Hajj Fund Board (TH) and the Malaysian Bumiputera Tourism Management Association (BUMITRA MALAYSIA) will take place for three days from 3 to 5 January 2025 at Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre, KLIA, Sepang.

The Head of the TH Hajj Department, Tuan Haji Mohd Hisham Harun said that the main purpose of the Carnival, which will be held in early 2025, is to give a choice to selected future pilgrims to perform the Hajj either with the masaasah or through a package offered by the Hajj Pilgrimage Manager (PJH).

"This carnival is also one of the efforts to promote the hajj package provided by 37 companies licensed by TH known as PJH compared to 25 companies in the last hajj season, he added.

"TH gives prospective pilgrims the space and opportunity to evaluate all the packages offered by 37 PJH companies, under one roof and makes it easier for prospective pilgrims to choose a pilgrimage package according to their ability and taste in line with the theme Choose Comfort, Choose the Hajj Package," he explained again.

Meanwhile, according to Dr Wan Muhamad Adam Wan Norudin, President of BUMITRA MALAYSIA, "The PJH Carnival reflects a shared vision to promote trust, transparency, and excellence in the Hajj and Umrah industry. The cooperation of Tabung Haji and RHB Islamic Bank, enables prospective Hajj in 2025 to make the right decision for their pilgrimage".

Tuan Haji Mohd Hisham Harun also reminded the public who want to perform the obligatory Hajj to choose a company registered under TH to avoid unwanted things like fraud cases.
