KUALA LUMPUR, 24 November 2024: FITFEST 2024, LATIN AMERICAN Cultural dance was loved by the participants and visitors, lots of families were seen enjoying and actively participating in the FitFest activities. These cultural dances, food and dresses are the key of bringing countries and communities together through this IWAKL - ANITA ENTERTAINMENT, FitFest event.

KUALA LUMPUR, November 24, 2024 – The groundbreaking FitFest 2024, hosted for the first time at the Starxpo Centre, 15th floor of KWC Fashion Mall, Organised by The International Women’s Association Kuala Lumpur ( IWAKL ) and co organised by Anita Entertainment and officiated by Prof. Datuk Azlie Halim ( Deputy President Malaysia International Tourism Development Association ) has achieved remarkable success, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of approximately 700 participants. This novel event aimed to showcase the diverse range of dance fitness styles currently sweeping the fitness world, including Zumba, Bollywood, KPop, FitHop, Piloxing, Mvibes, Pound, and Poco Poco.
Notable performances by Silat Gayung Fatani Malaysia and the vibrant African Rhythms group from the African community highlighted the event, bringing a rich international cultural tapestry to the fitness showcase.
FitFest 2024 proved to be immensely interactive and engaging, with attendees actively participating in the various dance fitness sessions. The unique collaboration with IWAKL and Anita Entertainment, who managed to bring together bikers from across Malaysia. Despite a spell of rain, the bikers’ participation added a cool twist, with many joining the dance sessions, showcasing an exhilarating blend of fitness and motorbiking cultures.
The event was graced by local celebrities, including Yanzen, who joined the attendees in an afternoon filled with energy and fun where young and old had a great time participating in the dance fitness. Offering free entry, FitFest 2024 dedicated its proceeds to support the Orang Asli Clean Water Project and the Wisdom Path Integrated School for underprivileged refugees, embodying the spirit of community and giving back.
FitFest 2024 has set a new benchmark for fitness events, proving that fitness and philanthropy can go hand in hand, and the organizers look forward to more such events that can bring communities together for good causes.
