Cute little warrior Dionne Liew currently is undergoing leukemia treatment at Subang Jaya Medical Centre where everyday she needs platelet transfusions. SJMC blood bank hopes that her family could help her to get more blood packet / platelet from public.

Mon-Fri 830am-530pm

* Donors kindly be at the hospital 3hours in advance for certain check up

Donor should
- 18 to 55 years old
- weight at least 45kg
- have a big and strong vein
- be in good health
- preferably a male donor
- had more than 6 hours of sleep the night before
- have haemoglobin level of 13.5-16.0 and platelet >150
- have taken meal before donation

Donor should not
- have any medical problems such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, etc
- have done any surgery for the past 3-6 months
- have done any dental surgery for the last 3 months
- have taken any medication in the past 1 week
- have received any vaccine/immunization in the last 6 months
- have done acupuncture, cupping or tattoo in the last 6 months
- have taken alcohol for the last 24 hours
- have been in the United Kingdom in between 1980-1996, for a period of 6 months or longer
- have involved in any sexual activities such as homosexual, bisexual, multiple sexual partners or involved in any drug abuse
