A little milestone for .Pet 🥹🧡

As a pet parent, I cannot imagine witnessing my own furkid being restrained, suffering, and dying right in front of me while I’m begging for them to be spared.

Whether Rocky had a licence or not is a separate legal issue. No issue with licensing or ownership gives anyone the right to torture, strangle, drag, or cruelly kill an animal. If an offence has been committed, let the proper authorities enforce the law. Cruelty is never enforcement.

I hope the authorities carry out a thorough, transparent investigation and that anyone found responsible is held accountable under the law.

The question was never whether Rocky had a licence. The real question is: when did cruelty become an acceptable form of enforcement?

⚠️ One of the biggest pet food stories of 2026... and I haven't seen many people talking about it in Malaysia yet.

The investigation is still ongoing, so let's avoid jumping to conclusions.

But this incident reminded me that popularity shouldn't be the only reason we choose our pet's food. Read the ingredients, understand the nutrition, and make informed choices.

The recent animal abuse cases made me realize something.

Maybe kindness towards animals doesn’t start when we’re adults.

It starts with the little things children hear every day.
🐾 “It’s just a dog.”
🐾 “Dogs and cats are dirty.”
🐾 “Don’t touch them, you’ll get sick.”
🐾 “Why spend so much money on an animal?”
🐾 “They’re just animals.”

Maybe, you don’t mean any harm when you say these.

But children are always watching.
They’re always listening.
And the words we use today become the beliefs they carry tomorrow.

This isn’t about blaming parents.
It’s about reminding ourselves that we all have the opportunity to raise a generation that treats every living being with kindness, respect, and empathy.

“Should we keep a guest room, or turn it into a pet room?” 🥹

Well… here’s our answer.

The guest room is officially gone. 🤍

Instead, Eevee now has her own little space to climb, nap, play & eat

Some people might think,
“An entire room for a cat?”

But to us, she’s family.

And if we can create a little corner where she feels safe, happy and at home…

I think it’s worth every inch. 🐾

No regrets.
(Although our future guests might disagree. 😂)
