PRU-15 recap!
From a silent moment to the overwhelming cheers from the crowd, this is my best moment from the 15th General Election. It was a tiring month for us who work on the ground and behind the scene, as sometimes we are still awake till 3-4 am and on standby mode latest at 7 the next day. My enormous gratitude to the hardworking staff members who made the campaign successful and also to the members of the press on the frontline bringing us the latest news and documenting this historic moment.
It’s time to take a brief rest and recover. Healing soon.

Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops Angkor Hangover KL 2022 is a success! The Hangover session was done in 2 parts, where we focus on story editing such as photo selections, sequencing, and portfolio reviews at ZonTiga, PJ. The latter part was held at Kongsi Hub KL where it is focused more on statement writing and project ideas.

The program aims to expose more local talent to the workshops and guide future applicants from Malaysia through the APF submission. We were super excited to see new faces, and fresh work, and to reconnect with fellow alumni.

I would like to express my gratitude to our partners, Photobook Club Kuala Lumpur Kongsi. Hub KL and Zontiga for making this event possible. Thank you to Alvin Lau, Faisal Aziz, and Hasnoor Hussain for leading this session! Best of luck to future participants!

My most trusted and reliable lens so far, is the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 art lens. The down side of using it to cover football (wth??) is that I have to wait for the player to play near the edge of the field.

My one of experience traveling long-journey started from the trip to Turkey. It was also my first time wander off to European country, so I was really new to all this travel scene. Having spent 6 days in Turkey with guest of nine Malaysians invited by Embassy of Turkey and sponsored by Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Turkish Embassy in Malaysia and Turkish Airlines. We had a chance to visit some places in the country, mainly in Istanbul and certain places in Southeast of Turkey.

Turkey is known-able as a country that rich with cultural, traditional and civilisation history. In Istanbul, I had a opportunity to visit historical and attraction places like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Taksim square and Tokapi palace. During our trip to Southeast of Turkey, we visited the Gobekli Tepe (the oldest temple in the world, Unesco World Heritage Site), mount Nemrut, Halfeti and other stunning places.

Without doubt, I fell in love with Southeast of Turkey! Why? I was found the adventure I was looking for. We flew to Diyarbakir from Istanbul during our 2nd day, long way road trip journey, drove through mountainous landscape in Mediterranean climate make I fell should fit into this situation as a challenge. Sanliufra and Gaziantep gave me my Middle Eastern great escapade.

We were taken to Gobekli Tepe on our 3rd day in Turkey. It is known as the Jewel of Turkey’s south eastern. Located 30 minute from Urfa, Gobekli Tepe discovered in 1963 and confirmed to be as old as 12,000 B.C. It was new experience to me to seen the world’s oldest temple, older than Stonehenge and Egypt’s pyramid. Government of Turkey announced 2019 is the “Year of Gobekli Tepe”. It's no wonder that this place is overwhelmed with local and foreign tourists during our visit. Something new recommended place to see if you are kind of historical addict and love to learn about human civilisation.

We got to see the sun set over this 7000-foot of Mt. Nemrut, where King Antiochus built his tomb sanctuary in 62 BC and surrounded it with statues of animals and Greek gods.

One of my favourite things I do in Turkey is took photograph at the rooftop of shop lot near Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. The evening that me and my friend visited the rooftop was our first day in Istanbul after arrive in Turkey. It was stunning than any of panoramic view I have seen. If you have time in Istanbul, get a free time to visit this place. My friends and I got chance to visit this place twice when we were in Istanbul. It will make you feel breathtaking.

It was a fun day at TAGCC today! gave a briefing to YB on the game rules and tactics. Hado is the first ever physical esport in the world using augmented reality technology. Players throw fireball at opponent to score point. It was an eye opening experience to see the future of esports in Malaysia at the event as all I know about esports is only Dota. One last cringy line that I’ve been holding to say, “ko hado?”

Meeting with the United Nation Technology Innovation Lab.

What I love the most working with Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman is the creative freedom that he gave and entrusted in me in making these images a possibility. This collaboration is a brave attempt to revolutionise the visual narrative that were usually used in the government archive.

Former World number 1 badminton champion, Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei has announced his retirement last Thursday due to a health-related issues. In the emotional press conference held at the KBS Tower, I was humbled by his down-to-earth attitude as he was thanking all those who contributed to his success, from his coach, friends and family, all the way to the cleaning staff at the MSN as they too played a huge role according to him. When were asked by the press on what will he miss the most, he said that he will miss the media the most. Laughter came after that and breaks the tension away.

It’s my second day in the office working together with one of the most prominent and hardworking young leader of Malaysia, YB Syed Saddiq. It is such a great opportunity and an amazing experience to work and to learn from him and his amazing team. To watch somebody who is younger than me who achieved and excelled at so many things despite many challenges in this harsh political environment is an awesome vibe and inspiring as well as I get the feeling there’s a great hope for a better future for my child and for the young generation.

His initiative of the Yellow Ribbon project that give a second chance to the kids who went to the correctional institution just blew my mind.

Today (June 11th) he received a courtesy call from the High Commisioner of Brunei and from the Obama Foundation to discuss more on the future of the youth education system in order to create more young leader.
