Are they able to survive on their own? These are the concerns of Anthony, father to a 29 year old special needs daughter.

Today is definitely an experience capturing a wholesome scene of Adley finally able to hear again since birth.

To see the parents finally able to call him and seeing his reaction, it was a pure joy to experience.

When we asked if we could follow them on their house deliveries, we were definitely not prepared mentally and emotionally to see what we saw.

The very people that lived in the same city as us, experienced very different lives and living conditions. It hit us deeply and we wanted to tell this story to our best ability.

Throwback to when we travelled to Miri to capture the stories of Kenosis Sarawak, a drug rehabilitation centre.

It was a blessing to be able to travel and capture stories of this amazing group of people, amidst the pandemic itself. During our stay here, we were treated with such great hospitality that it left a lasting impression on us.

One thing eye opening was how human each person here is - despite the labels of being 'sampah masyarakat', each person here treated us and each other with such kindness and respect. We left feeling extremely touched and determined to tell their story.
