Gajah Olen — a crown, a memory, a moment.

This wasn’t a performance.
Nothing rehearsed, nothing staged.
Just a quiet moment shared — between the one who remembers, and the one who receives.

We spent a quiet afternoon at Borneo Cultures Museum, filming a story that doesn’t often get told — not because it lacks beauty, but because fewer and fewer people remember how to tell it.

This was a documentation of Gajah Olen, the traditional bridal adornment once central to Malay wedding ceremonies in Sarawak.

It wasn’t just about tradition, or ceremony, or the beauty of the bridal adornments. It was about the way stories live — in hands that remember how to place a crown, in voices that recall the meaning of each piece.

There was a stillness in the room. No script, just conversations. A gentle exchange between generations, one showing, one listening. And in that quiet, something important was being passed on.

As a team, we came in to document. But we left feeling like we were entrusted with something — a glimpse into memory, a reminder of how culture survives when it’s cared for.

Some people freeze up the moment when they sit in front of a camera.
Totally normal. We get it.

That’s why whenever we’re doing interview shoots, we bring along our best secret weapon — the teleprompter. No more worrying about forgetting lines or looking awkward. Just read, breathe, and be yourself.

This round, we were working with DVSS, Department of Veterinary Services Sarawak. Lots of important things to say, and we’re just here to make sure it all comes out smooth and confident.

We handle the tech. You just focus on telling your story.

He spent his life saving other people.
And now, at 85, after a successful heart surgery — it was his turn to sit back, reflect, and let someone else care for him.

We met him during recovery.
Still sharp. Still joking. Still very much himself.
But also… different.
There was a quiet strength in the way he spoke — about medicine, about life, about choosing to trust the team at Sarawak Heart Centre.

He had been the doctor.
Now, he was the patient.
And he told us exactly what that meant — not in medical terms, but in human ones.

This video was produced for highlighting his personal journey after undergoing TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation).

And for us, this one left a mark.

We had an amazing time at the TVS Tiber Roadshow, where we shared an exclusive look behind the scenes and our animation’s production journey for “Kumang and the Ungrateful Python”! 🎬✨

Big thanks to our cast members NgekTsai Army and Emily Elizabeth for joining us and bringing extra energy to the event.

It was a joy connecting with everyone and sharing the creative process behind Sarawak’s own animated folklore.

Special thanks to Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak and TVS TV for the opportunity to bring this project to life! 💛

We’ve been capturing the journey since our first shoot with Taka Patisserie back in 2017.
Today, we’re here in Tasik Biru, Bau to witness another milestone—one more store, one more story.

Congratulations on the new opening.

🎓【Our Director Was Invited to Share – and We’re Proud!】
Last week, our team at Visual , the animation and multimedia arm of Motion Foundry, had the honor of joining at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak

Our director, Siew Chung Lee (a proud Swinburne alumnus – and jokingly introduced as a “Super Senior” with more project files than dance moves 😅), was invited to speak about our creative journey, real project challenges, and how we turned problems into opportunities.

We were genuinely impressed by the energy and talent of Swinburne’s students – smart, curious, and full of potential. The future looks bright! ✨

Big thanks to Swinburne for having us. And if you’re curious about the kind of work we do, come check out our animation & multimedia projects at 👉

After all the noise, the food, the visits —
things slow down a bit.

You start to notice what’s left unsaid.
Some people still hanging around the back, music softer, conversations quieter, and something in the air just feels… different.

This short film is about that kind of moment.
No big drama.

You might think of someone. Or something.
Or maybe not.
But if you’ve got a few quiet minutes,
this might sit right with you.

Selamat Hari Gawai. Gayu Guru Gerai Nyamai.

Take your time. That’s what this season is for.

And big thanks to Emart for jumping on board with us — you were awesome!
