🌟 Penang Pride on the Global Stage! 🌟 24-year-old Vincent Ong has made history as the first Malaysian to reach the finals of the prestigious Chopin International Piano Competition (The Fryderyk Chopin Institute) in Poland! 🇲🇾🎹

He has just performed Chopin's Polonaise-Fantasy in A-flat major, Op. 61 and Piano Concerto in E minor, Op. 11 with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Andrzej Boreyko.

Vincent’s journey, from Heng Ee High School choir accompanist to 2014 ABRSM High Scorers’ Concert performer supported by our strategic partner ABRSM, and years of relentless practice in Germany, is a story of pure dedication, grit, and passion for music.

Let’s come together as a community and shine the spotlight on our local talent making waves abroad! ✨
