20th July, Sunday – We spent the afternoon at a special screening of Memori, a touching film brought to us by .official and Thomson.

Memori tells the story of a doctor diagnosed with early on-set dementia, and how his son and daughter-in-law step in to care for him. But it’s more than just a story about the disease—it’s about love, sacrifice, and the emotional weight families carry when someone they love begins to slip away. It also dives into the couple’s own struggles, childhood wounds, and how they try to hold onto each other through it all.

What makes this film even more powerful is that it’s based on a true story. It doesn’t just focus on the person living with Alzheimer’s, but shines a light on the silent battles caregivers often face—physically, emotionally, and as a couple.

Memori hits cinemas on 31st July 2025, and honestly, I think everyone should watch it. Whether or not you’re going through something similar, it opens your eyes—and your heart.

The cast, featuring Diana Danielle, Dato Hilal Azman, and Hisyam Hamid, brought such rawness and beauty to their roles. Please go support this important local film.

Thank you to Seniors Aloud for the kind invitation to speak at your monthly Zoom meet.

It was heartwarming to see over 100 seniors tune in as I shared my journey and the services we offer. What truly stood out was how members, near and far, came together to chat and connect even before the session began.

What a lovely day our seniors had with a group of homeschoolers and their mums. They call themselves the Faithful Mothers & Daughters’ Club. It's a self-formed group of homeschool mums with the beautiful objective to train, nurture, and disciple their daughters in the ways of the Lord.

When I first met Christine and shared the idea of intergenerational activities with our seniors, she thought it would be a great idea for her group to join in.

During their visit, the children planned the activities, interacted, and sang with the seniors.

We wish for more intergenerational activities like this at our daycare. It's not just to brighten our seniors’ day, but to create meaningful exchanges that leave lasting impressions on both generations. There’s something so special when the young learn empathy and respect, and the elderly are reminded of their value and wisdom.

We look forward to more of these heartwarming moments.

I truly empathise with working adults and also caregivers who have their own families to look after.. waiting for an appointment that is at least 6 hours long is no joke. I've personally accompanied a senior for 10 hours at a Cardio clinic 🫠

The public health sector has consistently grappled with issues such as a lack of manpower and overcrowded health facilities.
