Meet The Team - Ezekiel Mavani

Ezekiel has lived in various countries, including Dubai, Melbourne, and Paris, which has given him a unique perspective on cultural nuances and communication styles. As a bassist, he has performed in Europe and Southeast Asia, showcasing his skills and passion for music, and professionally has also worked in the luxury commodities sector as a brand manager for an international brand of ci**rs.

Throughout his career, Ezekiel has accomplished many corporate achievements, including working as a sustainability consultant at the Museo delle culture. He analyzed the carbon footprint of their exhibitions and provided recommendations for reducing their environmental impact. Additionally, he was instrumental in the successful launch of Rediroom, the first commercially available rapid mobile isolation room at the 2nd National Infection Prevention & Control Conference of Malaysia. He has also facilitated a digital twinning program in the holy city of Mecca, working closely with the Saudi Government and key Emirati partners.

Ezekiel's international experience, combined with his skills in project management and intercultural communication, make him an invaluable asset to Loci Music Studio as they continue to expand their reach in the global music industry.

Ravi Shankar, founder of The Loci, is a prominent figure in the Malaysian creative sector. He boasts an impressive portfolio of projects and corporate clients, establishing Ravi as a key player in the industry.

Having collaborated with diverse clients, from corporate entities to media production companies, Ravi's exceptional skills are evident in projects like "Looking Back, Moving Forward" for Carolinas Credit Union League and "Vendimia" for Lightsource BP, where he handled music arrangements. He also produced the entire podcast for Mind Unmute and arranged music for the Ministry of Education of Malaysia's series "Mari Bercerita."

07_Invertebrate

Amplify and emote your scenes with the right music. 07_Invertebrate was one of the earliest passion projects from the team, composed by Giri Ganesan, produced by Ezekiel Mavani, addtional cello by Ezra Mavani and percussion by Ravi Shankar. The track was featured on Malaysian Groove metal band Mothflesh debut album, Nocturnal Armour both of which Ezekiel and Giri were original members of.

Drawing inspiration from the sonic landscapes of Massive Attack, our track fuses ambient, orchestral, and electronic tones with the engines of industrial elements and a hint of ethnic flair. As an instrumental piece, it offers an uplifting journey through diverse musical terrains. Leveraging this unique blend, we provide composition services tailored for games and films.
