Television series, movies and commercials to resume operations beginning June 10, SOP must be applied.

The government’s decision to allow companies involved in producing television series, movies and commercials to resume operations beginning June 10. Stricter standard operating procedure (SOP) must be applied, the move would at least help in completing overdue filming process.

We know that we all are concern whether are we allow to re-open our business from 4th onwards, on behalf of our members, we wrote a letter to FINAS, FINAS revert to us as below.

Selamat sejahtera,

Surat Tuan bertarikh 4 Mei 2020 adalah dengan ini dirujuk.

Pihak FINAS tiada halangan sekiranya pihak Tuan ingin membuka premis perniagaan seperti yang telah dimaklumkan. Merujuk kepada SOP yang telah dikeluarkan oleh Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) bagi sektor perniagaan yang dibenarkan untuk dibuka dan beroperasi semula secara terkawal dan berhati-hati menjelang pelaksanaan Perintah kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB) bermula 4 Mei 2020 ini turut merangkumi produksi animasi/muzik, Pasca-Produksi di Studio, pembangunan permainan digital, pembangunan muzik secara digital dan rakaman lagu di studio.

Sehubungan dengan itu, mohon pihak Tuan mematuhi segala arahan dan SOP yang telah dikeluarkan oleh pihak Kerajaan dalam menjalakan kerja-kerja berkaitan sepanjang Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB) ini berkuatkuasa. Sebarang perkara berkaitan adalah di bawah tanggungjawab sepenuhnya oleh pihak Tuan dan ianya tertakluk kepada pematuhan kepada mana-mana perundangan dan Perintah yang telah dikeluarkan oleh Kerajaan Malaysia.
