We are looking for a talented Manager, Marketing & Events to lead and undertake the marketing and event department. You will be supporting the director to oversee and manage the Marketing & Events team to meet the business goals set forth.
Responsibilities
• Representing the management in project and events acquisition
• Build and maintain client relationship; establish a good image of our company’s performance with existing and new clients
• Brainstorm new and creative project, marketing and event ideas
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
• Prepare department budgets, kpi and roi
• Oversee and direct all advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV, etc.), exhibitions and promotional events
• Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, social media copy, video scripts, website material, etc.)
• Measure and report performance of all campaigns, project and events based on current marketing and event trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
• Collaborate with internal teams and endorse service providers, vendors partners to launch project, marketing and event on time and on budget
• Oversee and endorse progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance
• Manage project proposal/ pitches, costs and expenses
• Lead and coach team members on project related tasks to meet deliverables
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Event Management, Advertising, or relevant discipline
• Proven min. 5 years working experience in similar industry
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, Canva, etc.
• Familiar with social media and web based marketing (e.g. SEO/SEM, Google Analytics)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Independent, proactive, self-motivated and possess leadership; demonstrate experience leading and managing multiple teams in performing their task
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities – able to plan, direct and oversee multiple teams in meeting their project kpi/roi/deadline
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of marketing and events planning, organising and best practices
• Highly creative, resourceful and indepth commercial awareness with the ability to devise out-of-the-box marketing and event ideas
• Excellent people skills – excellent customer service ethic; committed to delivering a great experience every time for clients
