Congratulations to CCTV (recipient of the Sixtymac Students Short Film Grant 2024) for being selected for the 19th Krishen Jit Fund!

Since its establishment in 2006, The Krishen Jit Fund has supported 95 projects by artists and cultural practitioners working across Malaysia.

We can’t wait to see this short film come to life!

We are excited to announce the two recipients of the Sixtymac Students Short Film Grants 2024!

* CCTV – Multimedia University Cyberjaya
Director: Farrah Anne
Producer: Cheryl Lisa

* Big Girl – Sunway University
Director: Aisha Abdul Halim
Producer: Chew Yun Han

Each project will receive a cash grant of RM 3,000.00 to support the production of their short films!

At Sixtymac, our main objective is to support student filmmakers in achieving their creative goals and to help them adapt to the international filmmaking industry. We believe in empowering the next generation of filmmakers to tell their stories and develop the skills necessary to succeed on a global scale.

Great news! The short film "WALAY BALAY," co-directed by Malaysian filmmaker Gogularaajan Rajendran and Filipino director Eve Baswel, has premiered successfully at the 56th Cannes Directors' Fortnight!

After rounds of scouting and collaboration, we're thrilled to announce its completion! Though just one scene, seeing our name in the credits fills us with pride and joy!
