摇篮凡世 Pavane For An Infant

A beautiful movie starring , Natalie Hsu, Pearlly Chua, Ben Yuen, Yuan Teng, Tan Mei Ling & tells the story of a baby hatch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the women who work there, particularly Lai Sum, as they navigate the complex issues surrounding abandoned infants and women’s rights. The film explores themes of bodily autonomy, societal judgment, and the challenges faced by women in a patriarchal society, especially when dealing with unwanted pregnancies. It highlights the moral and bureaucratic complexities of caring for abandoned infants and the struggles of marginalized women.
