I've been experimenting over the last few weeks with the Redshift render engine for the first time and thought I would share some of my first ever images using the new engine.
Naturally, the first thing I wanted to experiment with inside Redshift was skin and hair textures. Coming from the Octane render engine as my main renderer, using a biased renderer for the first time has been very interesting, learning a whole new ecosystem of light and materials along with a whole new workflow. It's too early to say if Redshift will replace Octane as my renderer of choice right now but I can definitely see a purpose for both in my toolbox depending on the project I'm working on.
Anyways this scene isn't particularly creative or complex in any way but its a good base for getting my feet wet in Redshift and I just thought I would share my first results with you all :) ✨💕
